Were all going to be eaten by rats the size of cows.

By all accounts rats have a really really quick evolution scale / they are naturally getting bigger and bigger each year until now rats are been found the size of small dogs.   Scientists are now saying that if issues with waste food / rubbish / landfills / dumping continue, and if we keep hunting rats natural predators like foxes, badgers, certain birds then basically the rats will take over.

That once we have pushed things like foxes, wolves, badgers into extinction there will be a huge gap / void in the market which rats will exploit seeing them grow even bigger.   Reports from around the world are appearing of people finding rats the size of cats and small dogs and already there have been countless reports of "Packs" of rats attacking and killing much larger animals like dogs.

Scientists predict that soon we will see rats the size of Pitbulls or Alsation dogs, at which point they will still attacking things like sheep / large dogs / small children.  Once they grow in size again they will start taking down cows, horses, then us humans.

Some people are saying ion the next 50 years we will see rats the size of dogs, like big breed dogs such as Alsation size, given another 50 years some rats should be the size of pony's / small horses / cows.   Scientists are also saying that in the event of nuclear war that the rats would eat all the bodies and dead or dying animals and we would end up with radioactive mutant rats that are the size of cows or even small cars, man eating rats basically.

Keeping in mind that rats have countless babies per year, that for every 1 rat you kill 50 are born, also that rats can climb, run really bloody quickly, and are expert jumpers, expert diggers and that they are basically fearless and do hunt in packs then they would make a seriously though enemy.  I mean in some cases rats have chewed through walls / wood / concrete to find food, so basically a rat the size of a cow could probably chew through an armoured car if needed, that in many cases they would dig straight under your house and come up through the floor, or claw through your your front door.

Like scientists say that each year humans are getting taller / bigger, well the exact same is happening to rats but about 5 times faster because rats just don't care what they eat or how many babies they have.  Whilst us humans rely or depend on things like electric, petrol, gas, shops, rats depend on nothing, rats don't need electric or petrol just themselves and can eat anything from insects, birds, bodies, anything basically even each other if needed.

The Tactics Lab

Having discussed this with the Stronghold tactics team we have decided that it might not be so bad.

Were thinking "Rat Burger" just might be do able.

My first thought was obviously to go full HC meaning hockey pads and a chainsaw, however who wants all that rat gunk all over them so instead am thinking a pump action shotgun with rat poison mixed in with the shot.  But you know it would be nice to have a weapon that couldn't jam or malfunction.

We have also decided a really really good LONG TERM investment would be in a pest control / rat poison like manufacturer, that by the time your grand children are ready to retire those shares will have gone up 1000%.   I mean honestly once a few children get attacked and killed, when 3 giant rats run onto a school field and drag some child off into the bushes then such pest control, rat poison like companies will see a world wide boom, as rats are growing in size all around the world.

That worried parents / grand parents will rush out buying rat traps, rat poison, maybe even guns or extremely powerful air rifles, that as rats grow pressure will be put on such companies to create new ways of killing rats.  Rat poison pellets the size of tennis balls or some kind of high frequency noise machine that hurts rats ears and scares them away, either way pest control is set to be a rapidly growing market.

That if our population keeps growing so will the need for pest control, OR, if we went to war or had some major disaster like a plague or war the need for pest control would still rise after.  Keeping in mind we have enough nuclear weapons to kill everyone on the planet a 100 times if needed but we DON'T have enough nuclear weapons to kill every rat on the planet, that even in the event of nuclear war rats would survive and quickly out breed the after effects.

The future could be very much rat shaped, I mean rats the size of large dogs and cows.
