I'm not sure if the game would be able to register this. (I'm picturing the attack page trying to calculate how to separately account for multiple defenders)  Maybe we could set it up so that it acted like 2 separate attacks...or maybe added a line for "family fleet fight" after the lasers get hit.

I like this idea.
You could completely be surprised with fleet stationed.
You could help fam with defence while fam members portal near you.

Shared portals have been discussed as well, but I think it was decided it wasn't possible.

i like this one.  the trickiest part would be calculating the defender's battle bonuses, but nothing we couldn't figure out.

any particular downsides?

With morale the way it is, an attacker could spend a TON and just station for everyone.

They couldn't retake, but they could protect an entire family.


Or if someone spends all morale ruining fleet, it would get resupplied right away.

I mean if we go this way, midswell just have a hospital big_smile

Implement this and eliminate morale completely... Or change it to where a planet must lose morale before switching ownership... No more 1 attack planet swap. No limit to the number of attacks, but no limit to the number of forces available for defense either.

Plenty of other games which are attack/defense are like this...

Think of how the game mechanics of Valor work. I think something similar could work well for IC...
