Non-Aggressive operations will cost a flat rate of 5 morale.
Examples of non-aggressive ops: Planetary Infrastructure, Vision, Infiltrate (Complete list to come)

Suggesting what specifically to fix would be much more constructive.
1. ops should be capped at 15
2. attacks should be capped at 15
3. bring back war dec. even if it means both fams need to declare
that would be a start
slightly lower moral loss depending on opponents attack bonus
How about every time the lower nw family takes a planet, it adds to a morale cash, they take 10 planets, that removes our morale hits for 10 planets completely. I understand trying to make it so the game is fair, but at the same time you can't give someone the win that doesn't deserve it and make the game no fun for those trying.
We had the 2nd lowest nw family we were fighting, they were near us in planet count, yet their nw was 1/3 of ours due to us having a pop banker and them not really building much fleet, etc. I seriously could attack or op once and lose 24 morale against a guy with 4 x's the planets I had. I am talking about fam 1682. They could hit us all day for any expos, freshly taken planets, etc, but we couldn't retake but 1/8 of them due to this morale rule relying most on nw rather than attacks in/out as well. If you keep the morale like this, I guess I'm done playing as the game is no fun getting picked off by a little family all day without even being able to retake!
I think retakes should cost nearly no morale. aka, if you are taking a planet which was taken from your fam in the last 24 hours then the morale cost is 0-5.
Supernova seems silly with this current Morale formula. Retakes should have their morale costs greatly reduced.
Even when not retaking i keep hitting the issue of if i have to fighter run someone i then do not have the morale to actually break his portals. By the time i have enough morale to start doing large attacks again he has rebuilt his fighters and i have to spend my morale fighter running him again. At the time the guy was 2mill NW more than me!
Why do Ops cost morale? I kind of understand you dont want tons of nukes going off on small players etc, but a simple planet infra or spy on target is costing 5 morale? Seems very expensive when i am already having such morale problems to start with. Its not like in supernova you have bankers etc with spare morale to do the spec ops/magic. ![]()
Soft opps should cost no morale, only offencive opps should In my opinion, as a attacker it's a nightmare checking for lasers your self as uses all your morale for attacking lol
