Why do you have 100% speed bonus when attacking the system just next to your portal still is 1 tick travel time?

Is it possible to change it to 110% for the same race points? (Or the amount needed to have instant on the system next to you?

I know this might be asking too much but you never win if you don't try. tongue

And yes, camaar is the other option but is it wrong to think that if you invest all those race points in speed that you can have a nice custom attacker race..?

Oh, I forgot to actually answer this question. 

The only way to instantly attack a planet is to have a portal in that system.  Logically to travel to a whole other system takes time.  Unfortunately, our smallest unit of time is 1 "week", so that's how long it takes tongue
