Topic: Likes

I know many will say it's facebook like and you don't want it because of that reason. Not even sure if it's allowed, copyright wise, but it's a great way to stimulate forum activity.

Agreed, but better than likes would be a voting system.  And some discussions shouldn't have voting system.


A forum poster who starts a discussion should be able to indicate whether or not the discussion being started will have allow posters to up-vote or down-vote responses.

And mods should be able to disable this if need be.

oh yes, i forgot that is what facebook is like. Don't use it a lot.

correction; i suggest the pure form of liking something. Doesn't change anything about the position of a post, it is just a way of showing someone else you appreciate his post. Might even lose the names attached to a like.

For example. Someone did a really nice PvC previous round, i think a lot of people enjoyed it but i saw not so much reaction in posting. This person might be more tempted in doing this when he noticed people actually read it and enjoyed it.


tbh, didn't say anything neither but that is irrelevant to the idea i suggest.
