Topic: White NAACP Leader: Rachel Dolezal

For all the controversy, This looks like a story that needs to be told. Is race just a colour- or is it a state of mind? What about statements of stop acting white? Or you talk white? People want me to think white. What is white? To those people it's the standard- The accepted norm of the majority. But now it's 2015, 21st Century, What is the majority? Do you count just one colour or all the colours except colourless whites? Is white a colour, or is it considered colourless? Why are my white buddies whom identify as black being persecuted? And mostly by the white community no less? If anything shouldn't Blacks be like, "She's a spy!" Yet, again, Blacks are more accepting of other cultures, and PHILOSOPHIES (schools of thought) ie: [*FREE THINKING*]). And actually this makes me think of the Multi-Racial people during Jim Crow, and slavery times. Many Identified as white just so they could live, and others to work. Without work you can't eat. You can't eat you die. I get it. But Dolezal doesn't have that situation. She just has the thought. She thinks she is black. So I ask again- Is black more than a colour? Is Black also a state of mind? My answer is Yes. It is also a state of mind. So get off the black white woman and focus on how the [no masking] did she get to be President of the NAACP. Not a big leap really. I've always believed the NAACP was for everybody like the YMCA. You just choose whether to join or not. It didn't matter the name- that was just my perception. So what are you telling me? What colour you are matters? the truth means something? What is the truth? What would Black Jesus do? Amen.

I know what her state of mind is its crazy.
You are not something just because you feel  like you
are. Too much feeling and not enouf   thinking.
Color has nothing to do with  this sick state of mind
I hope these people who think they are something because
they feel like it dont wake up some morning feeling like their a bird.

How is it different from trans-gender/ gay/ bi people, wanting to be another gender? Isn't it the same thing?
Doesn't being gay require some similar state of mind? The thought process sounds similar.
Are they not gay just because they feel they are?
Remember this black white woman spent 7 years, at least, actually living, breathing, sleeping, eating, and thinking Black.
Does that not make and qualify her to be more than just an average pretender?
She identifies as black. Black people accepted her "Blackness", and both whites & Blacks, perceived her to be black.
She was a Black woman for 7+ years.
It was her parents that outted her.
She could have been a Black woman for the rest of her life and no one would have known or cared.
I'm more interested in her motives and intent.
Crazy or not, It was a very brassy thing to do.
How crazy do you have to be or how much black love do you have to have to do what she's done?
I have a white friend whom calls her a race traitor.
He feels betrayed- he says she should be proud of her race and heritage.
