The problem with removing ingame pnaps is people will pnap anyway, then they'll complain when someone breaches it and demand mod intervention. Personally, and especially with the player pool left, I think pnaps should be banned and looked at like a form of IA, because with the amount of players left 2 pnaps leaves one option left to attack.

Less planets more systems, like having only 8-12 planets each systems. Reducing chance to have an "early huge concentrated pop bankers" that very easy to protect.

Less fam members (max 6, may be 4-5) and more families (12 fams).

Ally option (max 1), this can make diplomatic more interesting also surprise attacks, 2 vs 2 also can be more interesting.

No PNAP (PNAP = IA).


Its rudiculous that a fam with very active vets members begin with 2 pop bankers having a hundreds planets within 4 days, funding their 3 uber active attackers to bully every other fam for full rounds. Imho, reducing planets inside a system can make them found neighbour boundaries early.

discrete we have done the smaller families and there were no leaders.
Also we have already reduced the amount of planets but we can look at it again. For this round we won't have time to do it.
If you ally and you only have 12 families that does not leave much left and we will discuss the removal of Pnaps but it won't be for this round either. Not enough time and it would be a rushed decision. Maybe for next round we can see about these suggestions.

Ally give option balanced war. Fams can change ally in mid round for more interesting war. And the last, ally can break and have last interesting war too. Btw, what is purpose "check ally" in ops list?

With constant 8 fams then only existing become leader, no new leader formed. We must give opportunity for new leaders to rise too.

ya allys was awesome.... don't think it would be possible though as it is with the player base. imagine two power fams? would be a terrible round.

If allys were set randomly then I'd be game but not if you could chose.

Imagine a single power fam, and no one can't fight that fam. Then when everyone try to fight at time then IA take place. So there is a need for "legal alliance".

Of course this is idealistic, but if we would have alliances, those inexperienced leaders could team up with more experienced ones and gain knowledge about diplo, strats and leadership. Thus smaller fams with less people would be makeable and fun.

Of course that is the theory. In practise, veteran leaders would ally only each other, have kinda double the drafts (because they were divided in to two separate fams although playing like one fam), overpower smaller fams with reluctant and/or inexperienced leaders, kill their motivaton and ruin the game once again.

Maybe someone has a solution out there?

Zanharim is correct. Experience will ally experience. At the moment the ally thing is somewhat broken and also the way it works now is you are allowed to change allies once during the round and if you un-ally you are automatically given a pnap with each other. It was brought about because of the ally bashing that used to happen. With so few families it was best to just not have allies and everyone keep their cores clean and prepared.

here is a wild and zany one.....sure to be unpopular

previous rounds winning family members become leaders of the following round....breaking up all the experience into parts and allowing it to be passed on to newer players that might not get the opportunity to play with those you can really learn a lot from.....about the game that is......life, another issue.

if 7 families,  top 7 become leaders for first month of following round and then democracy takes  over...

if 8 families, top 8

get it...???

this doesn't have anything to do with  alliances and on that topic the number of players is not high enuf in my vaunted opinion to allow for it...

why just not make small fams (6 max) with max drafts, you will loose the inactive family's where only 1 or 2 tries to keep the fam togheter and gets farmed mid round for doing their best..

yes this will make a few superfams but it should get more competitive because when 1 fam always win, they will get attacked quicker next round so they won't grow easily and so on

only like 40 people playing and who knows how much multi's
at least the people who really wanna play will get into a active fam and the multi's/inactives can all land into a 'dummy fam'

I believe the requirements for the drafts should be removed from this round,
this would have been good when drafts were free, but since it's back to normal again and you have to pay, you should not limit a VIP to a single role in that fam

This idea is actually brought forward because of the 2 free drafts every fam would have, regardless of being VIP or not

hereby i ask this requirement to be removed from this round and any other rounds where drafts are not free !

We will have to go with what we have for this round. It is just too late to make changes at this state. Round starts in a little over a day and not everyone will have the opportunity to change. So for next round it will be up for discussion and also see how this round goes. So please be compliant and change races where needed so we won't have to do it after the round starts because that is gonna suck.

we need to do something about the farming.  i paid for VIP twice this round due to inactive fams.

If someone wants to play 15-18 hours a day but is an a fam of people who logs in once a week, it makes it a bit rubbish.

We need to speed up the killing inactives process also.

Some people register see someone they don't like in the fam then don't login again, and the fam then has to wait days to kill them off and get another random.

Also if i pay for VIP i should have the option to delete.

If you have VIP, you can draft in friends... why whould you need to delete ?
because of someone you don't like in your fam ? why wouldn't he get the option to delete then, maybe he doesn't like you neither.. so he should pay as well to get rid of you.. makes sense
this way IC would be the best funded game of 2015.. then the owner can pay coders to get this game back on its feet..
