How is the first ranked family able to attack the last ranked family with out the use of the sentinel tag
No attacks were made against 603


    Week 31, 15        An overwhelming force from MelvinWillRock, family 603 attacked Sten's Planet X in the Xx,Xx system. The defenders for Sten managed to set off a nuclear blast which made the planet uninhabitable.

This was not a clearing of there core as for 602 owns all system except the planet attacked

multiple reasons:

#1
If you explored it recently, it can be it was a planet that got blown up by the bigger fams and they still have fleet hoovering/on the move... so they can trigger and it will not check if it is in range

he had sentinel tag and it got removed after...
but i believe this can't be because the 35% NW rule would stop him from attacking, unless someone in your fam opped 603, losing the 35% NW protection

Yes there could have been a fleets hovering, but still he should have not been able to trigger attack due to the 6x NW ratio they have

At least 7hrs would have to passed between blowing up planet the first time,and attacking Sten, and that's if Sten sent the same time 1st attack happened which is doubtful


And as far as I know there have been no ops done by my family

assuming it is presend it will always trigger, no matter how small he is.
The trigger button only checks if you are napped or not, the NW rule doesn't apply anymore
NW rule is apllied when sending

EDIT: trigger button will also check if the target is in P-mode... but if you send to planets he owned less then 48hrs, you will still be able to trigger even in p-mode
