Topic: Maximum theoretical NW?
I wonder what the maximum theoretical NW would be given a universe with infinite size and time.
Simple thought experiment:
Planetsize: 250
Buildings: CF only
Suppose a resource cost 10 GC at the market
at 0% OB with 250 buildings
Income: 250*8 = 2K a tick
Maximum theoretical saves due to decay: 2K / 0,5% = 400K
Cost of a new CF in GC: 230 GC
At 100% OB
Income: 4K a tick
Max savings:800K
Cost of 1 new building 460 GC
At 3100% OB
Income: 64K a tick
Max savings: 12.8 million GC
Cost of 1 new building: 7.5miljon GC
at 6300% OB
Income: 128K a tick
Max savings: 25.6 million GC
Cost of 1 new building: 482 million GC
In this example at 6300% OB you cannot built any more CF. Due to decay you cannot save for new buildings. Even with income at 100%, construction at 100%, race bonus on income max you won't make it to 482 million GC on one planet. And I am even disregarding the size penalty.
With more planets you now would be able to grow further, but at some stage I expect the size penaltyon construction (NW / 10K) will limit growth at some point.
This brings me back to my question. What would be the theoretical NW limit for an empire?
