At least IC has a pretty new face. But then it's like giving a 95yo bag of mutton a face-lift ... she's still going to be dry down there. We need some lube (advertising) to bring this game back to its former glory. How do we get more players onto IC? Is there any free lube around that's any good?

The problem is everyone rather play quick games on their cell phone these day, gone are the days where ppl sit on their comps to play IC

+ Text base games are not the easiest game to market to ppl to come play....we live in the 21st century where image is everything sadly

just should be happy IC is still around i guess

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

This thing stefan tried, new design, desperate try to bring young fresh meat to a unstable and obsolete game, all of this has been proved to be a complet fail, that only pushed old players out of the game and never consolidated a new playerbase.

Old ic is not working alone! I like it as it is so i can use ic easy via mobile... You need to be able to navigate ic easy throug phone, tablets....

Yes "easy" is the key word, it is anything but eazy to play as attacker using a phone. You have a huge disadvantage vs an attacker playing on a computer, not only time consumed navigating thru the game, you are unable to fight cancel wars where u need to be fast at tic to trigger and swap to opened tabs, can you do that with a phone? Nope.
Lets face it, the game is not designed to run on phones, you'd be talking about other game, not IC.
Not at least with the current poor & bugged design. I told several times, if u wanna create a platform for iphones u must do a separated one, and keep the original old design for comp players.
How many players have we gained as phone users?? And how many have we lost because they were enforced to a drastical change?? Think about it.

It was the lack of proper guidance from experience players to pass down to the new ones, the poor community, and the ego raged farming that killed the game.

- The lack of proper guidance lead to those who werent in top fams failure to ever figure out how to make their fam a top fam, thus leading to farmville.

- Bad community, the only real community ever was pw and for years it was under attack, ridiculed, and destroied by all the other "communities" if people would have stopped trying to make fun of it and its players perhaps their would still be more players around, as from what i see its the original pw players that are still holding this game together as is

- And than the massive farming, bad tactics and egos lead to fams that were like 3-4x bigger than another taking record amounts of planets off the poorly defended less active fam.

Cloud u also forgot to mention modteam disruption and how stefan managed to deillusionate and piss off all the previous developers, by not letting them do real important updates, by not allowing full access to the code, to the point all of them ran away thru the back door
