Not sure if this is allowed, but a friend and I have a blog & podcasts on the football world cup in Brazil

I am glad you are well versed in ironic self-mocking... That said there is no point saying that we are world leading experts in football then having you disappointed. We do manage to have a bit of fun, to entertain and to not take it all too seriously, do stop by and listen in!

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

I wrote the US team off pre-tournament but they are showing that they are a force to be reckoned with and now have a winner takes all game against Germany to avoid Belgium in the second round...

That's the misconception. There is a TON of interest, but they just lack major coverage that the rest of the sports world has.

In American schools, dunno your system but here it is like 16 year olds to 18 year olds,  if there is a developmentally challenged boy who helped out on the team by getting towels, at the end of the last game of the year, they let him suit up and go on the field, and give him the ball, and everybody runs alongside him but behind him, and he scores,  and he thinks he is special.
