Plz make it different cause it's really not fair at all..
fams are spread all over the map but for some reason my fam (83) has no system closer then 9 ticks to home and has another fam only like 13 ticks away while others have 100 ticks of core to build
in my opinion something went wrong and my fam's position should have been left bottem of the map as there is no fam at all there for some reason...
The map definitely looks very unbalanced for us, got to agree on that. Is there something that could be done?
maybe swap our position with fam 85 and start the round with 8 fams (delete our spot), no one is in that fam yet anyway.
Two rounds ago the family I was in and Lee's fam home systems were only about 10 ticks apart, and Devilz was 10-12. We were bunched up that round, but we had to make it work.
sure, but that's not the only problem.. .the biggest problem is we have no systems near our home, 9 ticks is the closest system!!! that's a huuuggee disadvantage and on top of that we got another fam at 13 ticks, makes it even worse.
Or get rid of fam 81 and i am happy as well. it only has one player in it and i am sure it's a Multi anyway :-)

Well if you take a look zt our situation you ll see i am right. And if people can ask to delay the start of the round i don t see why i cant ask thid? Mods have merged fams before so it has to be possible to get us pther home system or move/delete fam 81
Problem is in the interface reset process. In the past we were able to randomly redistribute family placement. KT assured me last night that even though the image I was seeing while doing the reset was just an image and that the actual map would be different....which is not the case. This is the same unbalanced placement I mentioned last night. Only option is a full reset.
That being said. If we take a vote on whether to reset the gal or not, it's to say suck it up and play.
K make a vote then... Or kill fam 81 and. I d be happy. That one guy in there is a multi anyway

it is a map.....if someone don't have near systems is not someone fault. if it was another fam, you would do the same?
2 rounds ago home systems were very closed, and ICD fam was the only fam with like 30 ticks away from nearest HB. everyone posted about this but you didn't made a reset. now because someone don't have near systems, you make a reset?
i wish someone else make a pool after the reset for having too many systems near as core.

It s clear something went wrong when making the map and thats why he is asking if the community wants a reset. He s not making that decision himself...

and it isn't anyone fault that you got in that system. any other family could get there. but because is you they have to do a reset. with this kind of decizions i can't agree. they are more interested in stupid demands than on bugs/ideas.
i am happy now that i don't play anymore and don't have to deal with players like you in the game.
Yeah think you're missing the point. It's not one person who is voting, but anyone who is in the galaxy and puts a vote down. So, no not one person.
So why would that be low? And yes you're correct in one thing, it is a map.

herself* and no I'm pretty sure a few mods would have to sign off on a reset.
the vote might get lop sided however, by those who aren't happy with the fams they have landed in.
edit: when will we know if its going to be reset? dont want to put in effort setting things up if it will be time wasted.
I think this whole poll is nonsense.
Fam 83 got unlucky with the map placement, but currently has 6 players.
5 out of the 9 families have 4 players or less, which is a far bigger handicap.
I'd rather be in 83 than 81.
Euhm, round starts in 5 days, all fams will fill up znd a bunch already have so you don t really have a point....

There are 41 in the galaxy so if you dont want it reset talk to your buddies. ATM Stefan is trying to fix the reset issue.
Also if you make a post and people complain about something and want things changed, dont complain when we try to accommodate the players to get their input.
