to my way of thinking - payment for NAP is losing in the first place. the guy that wins a war doesn't need compensation ... compensation for what?  ... gaining in size and networth? getting a headstart in war recovery?

asking for compensation is just an excuse to gain more planets from a beaten family without looking like a farmer ..

Sharpstone reel in that tongue of yours. Some people prefer to fight rather than pay for planets in any situation, that is their prerogative. the guy you 'smashed into oblivion' hasn't come complaining so just accept that.

maybe you should stop name calling and instead point out people's mistakes politely. you should also remember english isn't a lot of people's first language.

on the point: Yes its OBVIOUSLY better in the long run to give up 10 planets with no infra on them and not lose infra fighting over other planets. the principle still stands though, some are stubborn enough not to 'give' up planets despite what losses they may incur.

i wont pay to stop a war from happening either.
