i think this round is the most lethargic and less action-filled SB round that I had since SB round 2. Not only ur fam, but all fams this round have at least 2 or 3 inactives, and there are even those who don't want to continue or finish the round. players these days lacks commitment in playing. there are those who are very active at the start but drops out when the round's about to end. As for me, if i know that i won't be able to play the round actively, i won't play at all than become a concern or liability for my fam. When I play a round, that means I've got time to really play it. These days, players suddenly loses interest after playing sometime or midway through a round, hence u see a lot of them dropping out, then rejoins the following round does the same thing.

yeah i know what you mean.  Can understand if players have planned events, or even unexpected events, fair enough, but surely have the time to pop in a 10 word message saying you can't play any further.  Not just raze your infra and vanish like Scyllas did in our fam, from moment war started..

ah well, i actually enjoyed the fighting, despite much preferring to win wink

Not much incentive to fight when your leader goes MIA, another attacker gives up, a banker goes on vacation, and a ressie that demolishes his infra =P

Attacking these days is more about activity more than strategy.  That and having a big family bank to assist you smile

this is why being SS or having a team with 1 attacker/1 banker and maybe 1 resourcer it was and remain the best strategy after expo smile

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....
