i might give it a shot, but a little worried about what the graphics looked like in the gameplay trailer.

It will be utter crap. With almost all of the original team gone to Flagship Studios, it will be nothing like the first two.  Blizzard should just stick to WoW before they end up with Diablo online and getting driven into bankruptcy to do stupidity.

Most overrated game ever

hmm, diablo 2 was amazing, leveling up by boss farming anyway, i hope diablo 3 will be more expended in the sense of, more ways to play the game, diablo 2 had just 1 way to go and that was it. also i've seen the gameplay trailer, graphics looks nice, new armors & weapons look nice, just the start i saw was a bit gay, don't know if it was just for the trailer but he immediately had a nice amount of skills such a whirlwind and immediately got bashed by a few monsters, hope it goes a bit slower in the actual game.

my 2 cents: diablo 3 will be a great game if it's just diablo 2 with alot of extras.

Salamandastron, WoW passed 6.5mil people a good bit back... infact in late january they passed 10mil subscribers

im fairly sure that it has shrunk since the high of 10mil subscribers although i dont know how much they currently have. Salamandatron is ignoring the massive costs for the servers and GM's for the massive population of WoW. Blizzard was bought out awhile ago, so Blizzard cant go bankrupt, only their parent company can.

world of warcraft III and WoW were disapointments for me. Starcraft II and Diablo III are their last chances to maintain a relatively positive image in my mind.

I liked it but then again I didn't play WC2.  WoW is a bit too easy for me.  Everybody wins.  That's why I've been playing Eve.

Dota wasnt bad... but WC3, was pretty shitty. Heroes in a RTS wasnt a good idea.

arent the only wc3 games still playing on bnet, Dota? and theres still people playing everquest, startcraft, diabloII, ect; people still playing the game means shit.

alot of people like alot of things. are the best movies of all time the most popular movies, or do film critics rank them on their own set of criteria?  the hero mechanic idea didnt pan out, it totally failed as an rts. it totally failing at the genre it was made for forces me to label it as utter crap despite a decent game, Dota emerging from it.

theres more than just dota on bnet still... and theres still regular games being played on it aswell

i just checked and theres not as many dotas as you suggest X(

its not the best game out there no... but its still not the complete failure as you make it out to be.. and i dont think a game should be restricted by whatever genre it was supposedly made to be for

I hope Diablo III has 5 discs minimal, I don't wanna see crappy quests So far there've been announced 2 races (Barbarian and Witchdoctor), I hope the old characters come back too.

I do know I'm gonna play this game ^^
