Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Who is fighting who? I see devilz, gef and chernobyl fighting for 1st by planets. Any of them fighting each other or any other decent enemy? I saw some of top players have canceled a NAP, i forgot who.. lol And endu is locked....

well without giving away any plans i may or may not have, I can safely say the last few days will see some shifts in the top planet counts tongue

I have to say I am fully against this 60% range rule, this is not Ic anymore, people building good infra and fleet to later remove it just to get in range to small empires.  It creates bad attitudes towards your small neighbours that in your eyes are parasiting your core, then you gotta do a stupid move like killing ur infra and fleet just to remove the parasites, it is highly absurd, has zero strategical factors and it is NOT what the game is suposed to be.

It was ok with the 40% rules plus the aditional factor I posted in ideas, but that requires a lil job to be done, and sadly there's nobody in the building, we are playing a dead and left alone game.

This is my opinion, common farmers probably like this setup, but winning size at any cost with a chaotic infra and zero strategical efforts is not my style, sorry.

Supernova is actually a semi-hardcore gal also, you cannot encourage new players to come here. If you want to do something special put NO nw range limits at all, everybody can attack everybody, and make rounds shorter.  At least new players will know what they're playing with no confussion.

I agree but in defence of the setup, it must be extremely difficult to be

1) attractive and motivating for new players.
2) Interesting for actual players.

+ it's discussed a lot, lots of players have no decency at all. They say everything's allowed in war but that's no answer. This game is partly wargame but as well economic game. Diplomacy is a key factor to the way you are playing (or are forced to play). If it's pure wargame there should be no option to declare war. War and alliances for war it must be.

Anyway, I don't want to start the discussion all over again but I wish to point out the difficulties of creating the perfect gals for everyone. Some days ago I started a thread for shorter rounds in ideas as well. I hope it could be something ... So i'm with you fellah! = )

Anyway, rounds almost over. I'm curious about the aftertalks = )
