we had multiple players retaking everything, and devilz checked map frequently to prevent other fams from randomly exploring and portalling into our core. during war (which was most of our round) he frequently set an alarm to wake up throughout the night and took many small powernaps to make sure our core is clean. even with a superior fleet, it is hard to portal up in the core of an opponent's fam if they retake. eventually, with enough persistence, big fams will find it not worthwhile to keep trying and will move on to next targets

The only way his fam could get this high in planet count is by "abusing" the NW rule. If he would have gone into a fair batlle amongst most of the fams without passing planets to players with only 1 million NW he would not even be in top 3 by size.

I would say that you can't attack a player under 35% of your NW unless the planets have been involved in the war between both fam's.

And Idiotic you referring to a raid made by 98. If you guys would have been in range you would not have been able to take that many planets. And yes we didn't want you to win size because of the "abuse" of the NW range. Devilz fam made some mistakes in passing the planets to lower NW planets and he tought his trick would lead him to the win in size. But even with only 4 players active in 98 we were able to prevent him from taking that win in size.

Admit that you would have 600 planets less if you didn't pass them to lower players and fought the real "conflict" where  Devilz is referring to. As far as for 98 I can say we didn't fought a war with 97 as they were way out of range and would have been crushed if they were in range.

Haha!!! what i misses.. i went inactive last 2 weeks of round.. so actually won? i seen alot of back and forth.. i just skimmed thru the last 2 pages.. BTW for the RECORD.. Winning the round always is done by PLANETS.. NEVER has it been done by NETWORTH..

@Devilz, I admit it ur a [masking] crazy attacker lol its sick at how good u are at attacking.. not many hell anyone could match u this round.. no lie u have beaten more families with lesser active people then the rest, your dirty tactics (Nevertheless) are still at the end of the day Tactics that allowed u to gain as many planets as u did.. althrough lee did a great job at eco u showed how it is to effectively still be a dominating force even from the bottom... amazed me this round how u came back from a 2v1.. all i could do was laugh.. sucks we didnt get the war i wanted.. but oh well.. Great Job.. u are the true and real meaning of Hardcore Attacker!!

@Lee, dude lol I'm only gonna say this once... Your like one the best Eco Players in IC.. I cannot deny that.. the way u managed ur team this round was awesome.. shows u wat a skilled leader can do with a full fam of actives.. well done.. your eco skills put u guys out on top quick.. nobody could match u guys Eco wise.. Congrats on a great comeback.. makes me think differently of u..

@My Fam, Sorry for letting ya down.. just diffcult ya know.. we had some hardtimes we lost every attacker Due to random MIA.. Styrker was okay i understand he in Iraq so understandable.. the rest (well u know).. me cant lie I'm burnt out.. with no help i get tired alot now.. played too many rounds attacking and havent had the opportunity to take a round off from attacking..  u guys know what we went thru.. either ways good round Set aka Jodeci, and Ra.. u rock man.. do or die kinda guy.. played to the end..

Alots of double teams, Random concidences, and just foul play but nevertheless this is IC.. felt like a shocking a dead guy trying to revive him lol u got that lil spike.. this was better then rounds before lots of arguments and blah blah..

with 16 hours till end of round, we were blown back to 2765 planets,

1 last planned war on 98, where, cumville logged in 2 min before we were decalring war, with his 100 mil iron, we said screw it and decalred,

moments later Dimple logged in, tongue oh crap, lost some portals while raiding cumsville, somehow i guess he only logged in and out quick,
so never built or aided, we were able to p mode him, when Dimple had to sleep, even tho we had 0 cash from fighting 00 and banker still with 0 money,- 98 needed ressie, so they feed us fleet smile

and spyro, was up retaking, sent mass retakes, and left portal with like 50k ground, so spyro passed out, and we took another 100-140 off him, with fleet out,

and with 1 tick to go, retakes were crazy back and forth, we were down by 100 on the last tick, and i only had 17% morale, but my team all pulled through with retakes,

my team crashed so many fleets, but we always picked up the spirts of anyone who did bad, and we just rebuild and keep going where most would quit.


3 rounds ago, i win people say, aw you had better eco, who couldnt win,
2 rounds ago, you have the most active players, who couldnt win.


this last round- yes i  had an somewhat active team, but truth is, they all went inactive after first raids, from 99 and 03. they log in 1 time a day and aid, and that was it tongue
our core 5, just never quit, and with our backs on the wall the entire round, we had a why not try? if we fail, were still in last attidude, even after our war with 02, 8 of 10 players on my team said size is not reachable, but,
sure i might not be the best leader of all time, hell not even close, but i get my teams to work well witheachother and show them spirit of never give up, and showed that doesnt always take eco to win with the right stratagy,
the whole round how many times we get nuked,
i had 20k-30k agents, if they only sabbed all my portals, they would have been better off... the pax cammar team can overwell most attackers, and hard to fight with no spread

about Render-- this guy said he would never nap us at start of round, and we would be going all round and he would ruin our round, and for a month we had to fight him, and when we gained planets, in last 3 days its farming, no he tried to ruin us, so we got him, this guy is the bigges baby in the game,  people holding grudges , no wonder people quit, when you refuse to nap a team all round, and when you get raped you cry about it, ( after you demo all your fleet, quiter)


anywho, this was a crazy round in all we could never repeat,


not sure how many leaders are even willing to lead again,

i say just do 8 fams, 1 draft, 0 leaders,

since i know flashy myself, 2 old leaders arby and glue need to be removed from the list, and maybe mizzle,

so leaves dimple, lee, lol still dont know who is leading 00

well everyone knows pcount wins the round.. no offense to anyone but EVERYONE KNOWS THIS.. Naturally no.1 fam usually has the most hence it went hand and hand.. now that its different majority of vets go by pcount not nw..

i had my stag do, hence wassnt online, wassnt bothered about eor tongue i was the best resourcer all round thats good enough for me. i should have got #1 size (again) but i didnt. ah well. never mind smile i wont be playing the next round but i may come back later on in the year.
nice to play with spyro - what an awesome banker.

and fair play to dimpel who didnt want to attack, but due to venom and rizzy (both apparently good attackers) going inactive and awol he did, and he kept us alive.

Have to point out that Spyro and Cumsville was best all round banker and resourcer! They was awesome and it was a pleasure to play with them!
I had a lot of fun with both.

It was intresting to see how good a family can work if just a few players participate. It was as i like it. Players think themselve and keep family in progress intead of waiting for the leader to come back.

Congrates Lee for overall win. Yes you lost pcount but you dominated and eco is as important as pcount.
I dont know where it was stated but i think varlorkas pointed it out. He said that both is important and explained

Do you know how much infrawhores were hit and killed by Devilz or player alike? Right. I can go for NW win and dont build lasers AND PORTALS early.  It will give me a huge advantage for NW win. But, i, for some reason, build some lazers and do portals too. Coz u know, Devilz....

Oh, and don't forget diplomacy. I can actually build no portals at all, if i nap right fams. 

See that? Try get a balance to win NW... or size. I'm not saying size does not matter. Size winners needs the same infra/attack/diplo/strategy mix to be first.. activity is advantage. But what if you face the same activity level players?

So don't never ever i want to hear again NW does  not matter.

I don't dispute the skills of the top players or there achievements  and there where some very well executed tactics by various family's

I just remember a different game which wasn't win at all costs hence why iv left


And you would be better with family's of 3-5  with Ally's

lol  I never said that, not as a SS quantum lol devilz you are full of poo. and i never demo all my fleet lol I just hit a lasertrap of one of the inaktives in my fam when I was grabbing planets to pay you for a nap.  When I saw your small bugs were able to take my portals and keep my infra then I demolished all the infra and kept only 200k agents, that I grew later to 1.2m to nuke your fam.  And i never kried about anything, I just blaklisted you and your minions and let my nukes fly until eor.

Yeah, I can't lead. I only get 1 day off a week and the other days I'm working 12-14 hours each. My time for IC has come and passed.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

In an ideal world, yes - which is why we've had Allys before.  Definitely more fun.  However, of recent times, the IC community has displayed that they're not mature enough to handle allies.  We've had incidents of ally's killing each other.  Ally's changing at the drop of a hat, just to suit that particular situation.  Re-allying someone else to 2v1 someone else, or whatever other shenanings.  It's a huge mess, that sometimes you guys want policed (by way of restricting only 1 ally change and what not), and sometimes you don't.  So with all the tweaking, the whole system doesn't evenw ork properly now.  So yea, allies won't be happening for a while.

And the problem with tiny fams of 3-5 people, is that you usually only have 1 attacker. Then that's a lot of burden on just one person.  And if they happen to not be able to be on for a war or something, usually the fam gets smashed and is completely up to liberty to the fam that cancels, and usually they lose motivation or their round is lost.

You guys know all this - I dont even speak of this as a mod or dev.  This just what I've observed as a player even.  IC is a funny game where you want something, yet its the players driving somethign else and the mentality of the game (weedkillers mentions a "win at all cost" mentality) has been driving it into decline for years.
