Topic: Market agreements

I am wondering if market agreements are legal in imperial conflict.

There is an option to see the top 10 players per resource in the galaxy.
In supernova, it basicly means that you can contact the other 9 player who have the largest production of a resource and make plans to gain control of that specific piece of market.

It does not affect any player directly but it can influence things a lot, given that the market play is done in a smart en coocked way.

Is this considered an illegal Alliance?
It's an economic Alliance in a way, but there are no opps, no attacks, no trading of information about players or anything else involved.

So ... before I start cheating without knowing that I do so ... can anyone give me an answer please? = )

If considered legal, I'd like to discuss the topic "market plans".

Re: Market agreements

Yes, it would be IA.

You're not attacking or opping, but you're intentionally propping up another's economy with your own with no alliances allowed.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Re: Market agreements

Re: Market agreements

You guys confirm what I was thinking.
Unfortunately ... ;-)

And it's not because we can't do it in real life, we can't do it here, right?
I mean, I don't see myself sending some bombers, droids and fighters to my neighbour because he's getting to close to my garden = p
I don't want to know how many licenses I'd need for that = /

Anyway. Question is answered. Thanks!
