Topic: Delete Restriction / Join Galaxy Restriction

Hi, I am sure this has been brought up before, but why not remove the Delete Restriction (once every 7 days I believe?) and just put a restriction on joining a specific galaxy once a week?

I know most people who quit/delete are trying to get into a "better" family.  Most people want to delete, but cannot and instead appear to be inactive so they would get marked and killed off so they can rejoin again.  This gap between joining and getting killed off can seriously hurt a family, especially at the start of the round when a loss of a spot hurts the most.  I know, leaders can mark them inactive and remove them after like 48 hours?, but why not just allow the player to remove himself or herself if they have no plans on playing in the family anyways?  Heck, I've even found some people who joined and built lasers on their home planet because they didn't get into the family they wanted and wasn't going to play in ours.

I'm sure this would probably require some programming by Stefan so it probably won't happen -_-

Re: Delete Restriction / Join Galaxy Restriction

Sounds like a good idea.

But yea, it would require a bit of changing in how the joining works, so would need a bit of tinkering.  Probably not worth the time invested given its benefits (considering we already have delete restrictions and stuff right now).

Re: Delete Restriction / Join Galaxy Restriction

Another idea could be to place a temp hold on account who join then go inactive or they quit a fam for that reason.  So if a leader does kill them off, or they delete more than once their account would have a week waiting period before they could rejoin.
