Leaders were per-selected, so what the hell.
The family's were suppose to have a valid leader placed in each family, now which leader was chosen by you in power, (yet has decide not to be active enough even at this part of the game), has not joined.
If you look at all the other family's, each leader has joined, and started setting up what they want to do, and has been talking to his family.
This family is still at a standstill, waiting on their leader to join, and start the same thing. But sadly no!

They should not have to chose a leader, and is that even possible with the game set at pre-set leadership round.
I find it funny as well that out of 8 vets chosen, this one decides not to do anything, was he/she even involved in setting up the game in any way. Did he/she join in on anything.  Has he/she even been informed that they have been chosen for this honour!

Glue   He didnt even post in any thread that has to do with this topic.  He was just chosen by who ever.  I would have thought you would have chosen someone who is more active in the game even during re-set, let alone head a family.

Well the reason why we haven't chosen anyone is because we are suppose to already have a leader. Why did they chose someone who is so inactive. Oh well I'll start a thread to see who is into leading

Just so you know, he volunteered, and it was the players themselves that added him to the list.

And then when I asked IC Death if he was even playing recently and active, he said yes.

To be honest, and now this is me speaking as a player not a dev/mod/whatever, I prefer this.  Its my great belief that the equal spreading out of fams, kinda spawned the whole cores idea and made it so boring.  Fams just spread outwards, increasing their core size, etc etc.  It's a boring way to play.  Yes, it's the most safest for your fam - but its boring and results in no shares etc etc.

The randomness (yes you dont want Home ssystems like 1-4 ticks of each other etc ), brought variety and strategy to the game.  If you have a huge expanse of area, then you have to figure out how to get into it.  If you have a fam 8 ticks from you, then you have to figure out to either diplo, or strike first - knowing that striking first may win you over the fam, but will put you behind others, etc.  There's more things to do, more territorities to fight over, you can set up secondary and tertiary cores, and actually work on something.

To me, the map plays a big part in how the round plays out - and this kinda map has always been much more fun.
