You are fail.

No, but Edison stole most of Tesla's work and passed it off on his own. Not to mention, he convinced investors not to invest in Tesla's wireless power idea because "you couldn't make money off it."

it does not matter, the point is made

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Re: No, Battery Swapping will NOT work!

You didn't have a point. There was no point for you to make.

You do nothing but regurgitate the same BS propaganda that extreme right wing talk radio hosts spout. They tell you lies and you believe it.

How about this THROW OFF THE SHACKLES OF POLITICAL PARTIES. NONE OF THEM HAVE THE ANSWER AND THEY ARE ALL CORRUPT.

You have no idea just how hard they ALL work to keep partisan politics alive and well. This is the shit that Washington hated. This is the shit he WARNED US AGAINST.

Einstein said "there are liberals out there that wish for this to be a law."

I asked who. I asked what "this" was. No response.

If anyone has information on an educational program that can reach special persons, please inform me of it and how I can obtain additional information. While I am not a Christian, the Bible instructs me (I appreciate it as a work of moral philosophy) to seek to help those most in need.

twistedpuppet, Edison was a thug. He's why Hollywood was on the opposite coast of the country from the reach of his thugs.

If you want counter-arguments that show that government can make worth-while investments, I suggest you use the Manhattan project or the moon landings. These are examples of government choosing competent managers and competent technocrats to achieve huge success.

Granted, while I would probably agree with Einstein that those examples are extremely rare and occurred only in very rare cares of very technical feats to be accomplished (and, I would contend, at those historical times democratic processes were far more likely to reject failure than they would be today), chances are he wouldn't ascertain the history as such and I would be spared having to state any such agreement.

Flint (I refuse to call him by his forum name) lives in Oregon. He's on the same coast as Hollywood. :V

Re: No, Battery Swapping will NOT work!

"The universities and colleges need funding and Government grants in order to look into the feasibility of the technology in question.  "

So true.

Only the government will pay $500,000 to study whether the shamwow will clean urine off radioactive waste, and be told "No." and then pony up another $500,000 next year.

Everybody else says, "Show me something that works and is worth $1,000,000,000 over five years, and I will pay you $500,000 for the rights to the idea. "

Industry explores the immediate use of science (technology)

Government alone explores the possible utility of tech innovation (feasibility studies)

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

Re: No, Battery Swapping will NOT work!

Good companies know they need R&D to stay ahead and survive in the long term. This gives us innovation and new products.

We all benefit. Free market win.

Tesla pioneered it. Edison stole it and then went around the country electrocuting dogs for no reason.
