Nice that everyone else got what they wanted. I got screwed by the roll back and the roll forward. I don't even get to keep my empire from the first time I re-joined yesterday, or even the second time I had to re-join after the rollback. Hours of work down the drain.

Seriously, for once can I please keep what I built and not have to start from scratch after 5 hours?

Huh. Well thanks ICD for screwing up my day. I was chugging along. Just minding my own business. Getting a feel for the game again, and then BAM! Rollback. "We're sorry, we didn't think your game data was important enough to save. Start again."  So I start again. Then BAM! Roll forward. "We're sorry, we rolled it forward, but not to a point where your game data existed...again. Maybe you should just give up?"

X(  I hope ICD loses the whole round is raeped by every top and bottom family in his galaxy.

You guys blaming the Mods make me laugh so hard I pissed myself. You've got no clue about how IC works and the heirarchy's actual ability to control the game. But please, keep bitching, whipping a dead horse, and pissing into the wind. It gives me something interesting to read.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Yeah give them a break. As long as they are not doing illegal stuff, think we should respect them more. They putting a lot of their own time into this game. In the end they make decisions that can't please everyone. Everyone has their own personal preferences mods can't satisfy all….

Just get going again things happened mods reacted deal with it. Be glad they did something or else this round was even more ruined.

Ow and Devilz fam didnt have a 100k nw gap as someone tried to claim just planets they were ahead infra was pretty close...

Sorry guys - like a few have mentioned this was the only option.  Trust me, we DESPISE rollbacks, especially since we can't even do it specifically for a galaxy - everything gets set back.  It's really annoying and not something we want to be doing.

Unfortunately, the "glitch" (whatever it was), screwed some stuff up badly and gave people an unfair advantage.  People lost stuff they shouldn't have, and others gained what they shouldn't have. 

Sadly, this was the fairest option - although one not preferred sad

Also, not entirely sure why we rolled back too far, and then forward again.  It should have always been the most recent backup.  Perhaps Stefan needed to check that the most recent one was not corrupt or something - I'm not entirely sure.  Either way, we're back where we're supposed to be - sorta.

Sorry for time wasted - I know it ruins plans and energy and whatnot.

trust me even the top fams lost on the rollbacks. i had 1 guy never return after the roll back.. the other is super low activity now

mods can you work out when the current rounds end? & if it is still 17:00 gmt or even the same day? would be a nasty surprise for it to end early or late!

Unfortunately IT issues can happen

in this case has benefited some cost others.  mods had to make a snap decision too roll back to get game working

then im guessing people complained so they recovered it to as up to date as they could  which damaged thouse who had started to recover in roll back

but at the end of the day  this is a free game not a subscription service
