Topic: It's Like This Forum, But Live!

The following link will take you to an 11 minute video, taken from American Public Broadcasting I think, featuring Matt Dillahunty responding to a Christian callers claim that it takes more faith to be an Atheist than it does to be a Theist.
The end portion of the video should feel very familiar to regular Politcis Forum users.

"So, it's defeat for you, is it? Someday I must meet a similar fate..."

The ending was great.

"Whoever said the pen is mightier than the sword obviously never encountered
automatic weapons."-General Douglas MacArthur
"Cluster bombing from B-52s are very, very, accurate. The bombs are guaranteed
to always hit the ground."-USAF Ammo Troop

Re: It's Like This Forum, But Live!

I wish the ending was slightly longer, I would love to know what Matt's full respose was, but I think it is safe to say it was much more polite, and probably much more logical too.

"So, it's defeat for you, is it? Someday I must meet a similar fate..."

The voice in the end sounded different, as if someone took the phone from the guy.

Re: It's Like This Forum, But Live!

Or maybe his voice sounded different because he was angry? Just a theory, I don't hear much difference to be honest.

"So, it's defeat for you, is it? Someday I must meet a similar fate..."

Re: It's Like This Forum, But Live!

His voice does sound different, but I think it is as Fokker said, he was just angry and emotional. In the beginning you can tell he has a slight southern drawl, but at the end it gets much stronger, plus his voice becomes deeper.
What confuses me is, as the host said, why did he hold out so long? He seemed pretty respectful for the most part, even though he was losing, but then he just snapped.
