IE does follow standards, it does render most pages properly, and it is actually quite quick.

i downloaded FF3 a couple of days ago

so far it's been GREAATTT big_smile, and fast, actually faster than the new IE, i had that before
the only bad thing is, there are no real ad-ons for it YET, since it's still fairly new, i tried a couple they didn't work =S

64-bit Windows comes with both IE 32-bit, and IE 64-bit...Theres no reason Flash shouldn't work :S.

BY the way, in all seriousness,

1. I use a variety of browsers. IE on XP, Epip on FBSD, and Opera/FF/Konq/etc. when i need to.
2. I dislike the Firefox 'Use this, its just better' mentality -- not FF itself. People have basically said FF > IE, so use it, without actually training the everyday person as to why. In a few years, __IF__, firefox were to be #1 it would have to be done again anyway. FF is not holeproof, and has just as many vulnerabilities as IE. The only thing that SHOULD change is the user...

Actually skoe, FF does not have as many vulnerabilities. With i.e a hacker can force you to download viruses due security issues. Among other reasons, FF is the better choice of the 2; ie is horribly slow in comparison to ff, and has to have extra code added to pages for it to rendered properly. Kind..of..pathetic smile

It's not just Firefox that's better Skoe. Use whatever browser you want, just make sure it's not IE (Trident) based. It's a piece of [MS-DOS] browser, gives headaches to web developers and is currently stopping websites from becoming better because alot of people feel the need to use an inferior browser that doesn't support 2/3rd of the current W3 specs.
Now stop trying to defend it. It's a hopeless fight, and you'll only look like an idiot.
