Remember, remember the fifth of November.
The gunpowder, treason and plot.
I know of no reason.
Why gunpowder treason.
Should ever be forgot.
Hi guys
WarChild UK from 70 here.
Just wanted to say a few things:
NAP with 70 & 71: Well honestly guys there is no big secret or conspiracy here, there is no dark plan or agenda going on, in fact I randomed into a family stuck between 3 of the biggest families in the round which was just marvelous. So we looked on the map and we asked (who is the closest to us, who looks like a big threat) and OH LOOK there was 71 right bang next to us.
Finding out we had an entire gang of crazy mortal combat people running around next door and shouting things like "Get Over Here" was a bit strange but in true neighborly fashion we both said "Howdy Neighbors" and the NAP was born from that (the closest family to us) and been honest its not always a good thing, I mean there up all hours of the night making noise, building fleets, generally destroying things, have written a letter to the galactic overseer but as of yet nothing has been done, tut tut.
To 66: I feel your pain but if you think back guys the first expo ship your camaar sent this round was shoved down 71's throat with 12 lasers built. Honestly the instability between 66 / 71 basically all started because one of the first expos your camaar sent landed about 3 or 4 ticks away from 71's home system. Sure rather than exploring near your home system your Camaar tuck a 9 or 10 tick joy ride into 71 territory and then built 12 lasers and we are talking SOR here, think that is where the early upset came from.
To: 67: Hi guys, like I have said to some of your players our intention was never to hit you in fact what actually happened here was that 67 / 71 started to fight and because of that our core ended up looking like it had been pebble dashed by 67, in total there must have been about fifteen 67 planets in our core. In the end even a few 71 planets ended up in our core but Smoke quickly traded them back because of the NAP.
Honestly we had little choice but to clear you, I mean honestly if you had stopped fighting with 71 and we had turned around and said (can we have our 40 planets back in our core now please) would you have said yes sure here take them free of charge have fun. Kind of had no choice but to clear 67 in fact whilst we tuck maybe 15 planets (in our core) you have traded / ping ponged maybe 200 planets with 71 and perhaps 100 planets with 77 so sure 100 planets, 200 planets, VS only 15.
Think people need to chill a bit
there is still plenty to fight for.
How many of you have been family rank 8 or 10 before but had a really fun round with some hard fights and big challenges and so on, lets not forget some fairly brutal fighting happens in the lower ranks as well so its not all about who takes number 1 or whatever.
