Solution for disadvantaged small fams:
Join the Piranha revolution!
Still can't join from my phone. Will have to sign up on a computer somewhere.... ![]()

I'd say they are doing pretty well now considering their start ![]()
Lets see, when I started playing, when this happened to MANY of us new players, the majority reaction was..."Shut up, learn to play."
It was a crass attitude moment. I"m even SURPRISED to see anyone even cared to mention such a problem, since the reaction to said problem was, "It'll work itself out."
So in essence, i'm just not going to be a nice guy about this situation, because it was shoved into my face so many years ago.
It'll work itself out, shut up, and learn to play.
It happens. I seen this for years. I don't see a solution any sooner, since a solution was never IMPLEMENTED in the past.

Bad example Torqez!
Okay, so IC dies, then? Just like that?
Alternative: Players that give a damn can buy IC.
My bid:
$1
I think even I can scrape together that much.

2 players remained in the fam from SOR to EOR. one of them barely active
3 late joiners were contenders that did play actively and cooperative
+15 players not building anything, asking for getting killed off or fading away into inactivity
Once again a proof that if you have a few players in a fam that are halfway active and know what they do, they can climb up from the bottom of the rankings if they just keep on playing and helping eachother.
Sorry 9897, to use you guys as an example - but it highlights what I want to talk about. Not saying you guys are down and out, but you're definitely disadvantaged.
...saved!
First off let me say last round I was blessed (finally) as every single person in fam was active all round.
But normally not that lucky (like this round - 3 inactives followed by a join/please kill me off)..
Anyway...
How about if the player (aka delete eligible) doesn't login either within the first 4 hours before SOR, isn't drafted into the specific family, nor logs in within 8 hours after SOR the leader is able to schedule a "force delete"? The leader has up to 12 ticks after SOR to make the delete decision to delete any "delete eligible" players. With this deletion also comes the fact the deleted starting ressies automatically go to the leader and they cannot rejoin the same family if they do rejoin the galaxy and the family also can not draft someone within 24 ticks of force deletion. Can also make it where leader doesn't get ressies until tick 13, but, if the person does login within 12 ticks is automatically re-instated to keep the leaders from abusing by "deleting" semi-active players to get the ressies.
I'd also like to see it if someone manually deletes they cannot join same galaxy for rest of round unless they're "drafted" into a specific family prior to the deletion (IE - a good reason to delete because you found your friend and wanted to join their fam). This would resolve those "delete me please so I can get into a better family" jokers
Everything I listed would in essence do multiple things...
End SOR inactive handicaps as leader could pass those ressies around (expos are diff but most aren't building expos 100% within first couple days so this may work itself out)
Keep peeps from manually deleting someone "not inactive but also not able to be on at SOR) to get their ressies while drafting their buddy in
Keep peeps from deleting until they hit a high rank/active fam. If players were active in fam they landed in they may help others...
