Re: One man, one handgun, 100 lives saved.

@ great eye: I think they can... NSA can read all our emails/msgs/... they spy on everyone, even in the hills of Afghanistan. If they want to, they can track and confiscate all guns in the us (or at least 99% of them).
they can, but they don't want to cause the weapon lobby is too powerful

Wait... so you want to legitimize the NSA as a permanent institution?

"Wow! 88 people a day? Wtf is up with that? How many do the cops kill out of 88? Good vs Bad? lol big_smile"

Most gun deaths in America are suicides.

I'm coming out against the George-Zimmerman, Scorpio-killer concealed carry deal.  The point of armed citizens is nobody does anything to need to be shot, not that crooks get surpised and shot.  We should tote openly like Mexican bandits.

I don't think "guns" are the problem here.

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.
