Topic: Cold Warring / Economical Warfare

I don't really have an idea but would like to throw something up open for further expansion.  Since attacking has kinda become a pointless exercise maybe we should look at new ways of warring.  That begins with money.

I'd like to see new ways of money factors to invoke war strategies.  The same way a family pays for a defence station they could now pay for offensive actions,  whether for threatening war, or physically beginning war.

For example, family A could pay 200 million GC to open a portal in the heart of family B's core, from their own core, so each family can now breach each others cores much quicker.  Family B can either fight back, or they can pay 100 million to close the portal.

Then we can see things like paying 100 million GC to cause rioting of enemy troops, or populations.  Or propaganda which could distract, or redirect enemy fleets.

And we could even look at costs of viewing enemy forums, viewing enemy fam news.

Paying 300 million for conscription where all your family members get a boost of soldiers.

Paying to intercept enemy messages and send them to someone else.

"It's very quiet on the political arena. I wish someone would stir up some trouble!"

Re: Cold Warring / Economical Warfare

Hmm, this actually sounds cool.  Adds a new dynamic.

And also serves as more benefits by sinking economy out of the game.  If people usually have excess amount of gc, they just turn it back into infra, and that leads to a lot of overall problems we have (don't mistake me saying that infra is bad, though).  However, these kind of actions will require economy to kick things off, more aggression and more actions.

I like it!
