Topic: how sliders should work

when building infra, any slider in any infra type should be pushed right to the mazz infra allowed to be built in the planet at that time, and not at what you kan build with all your kash&ressies.  This whould make building a lot faster and easyhanding.


Right now, I want to FB a planet, if I move slider to the right top I kan build 261356 mining fazilities ... lets be serious, I kannot build more than 186, if you want to show those big numbers do it, but set the top at the mazz size.

So it should stop at 186  (meaning, the right top of the slider should be 186, not 261356)

Now, 2nd kase, I want to build 6 lasers and 180 mining fazilities. The ideal would be this way:
I type 6 in the lasers bozz, then I go to the mining fazilities slider and move it to the right. The slider should stop now at 180 buildings.

How hard would this be to implement?  I think it'd be a huge progress for gameplaying.

Yep, this looks like a good idea.  Right now, those numbers just do some kind of crude calculations based on what you have on hand.

Although it doesn't stop at 186 - if you do select 261356, and hit build, it'll only build 186.  Should be made better though, yep.

This is more like a minor "quality of life" problem then a mechanic or gameplay issue. Torqez i bet your list of things to do is a mile long, do you have any way of determining priority? This slider thing, imo, would be pretty low on the prio list.

hmmm I agree, but it depends on how you want the game to look for the new joiners, right now that way of building infra is too amateur looking, and doing it the right way would save also a lot of time, ezaktly all the time you build infra during a round.

I like that it shows how many you could build. then I can approximate how many planets I can build on.

And I like it too, its very useful, but just not where it is showed right now. Its suposed you use the sliders to build, while those high numbers are just info, that kould go elsewhere.
