Haha, too many players relying on the market for cash flow with their extra resource production. These prices are amazing to buy at. Iron for 8 or less always comes through, endu for 10 or less, oct for 6 or less. Not to mention food hasn't jumped over .05 in days. I wonder how many are pop banking to go for extra cash and buying food off market to satisfy their needs...

I really dislike the part of the game when people message each other with some "FU I'm rambo I'll kill you after this lad because you cleared my from your system!"
I might have just done a suicide attack worth of 100k nw from texas due to him thinking he is a hotshot. Treat your fellow players with atleast some respect or expect to get cheap shot in the nuts.

I think I jumped way too big. Oh well, no one seems to be attacking me any more. Might as well jump mid game than late. Who cares after the round is over? As it stands, I can have 4 days of completely mundane and mostly nonexistent fame!!

full of illegal aliances, players playing in the same fam in starburst and helping here. is kinda lame that this problem isn't solved because of mods being affraid of loosing players, but is a problem that have to be solved.
as for the game, and this galaxy, i start to regret that i started playing again and believe that something changed.

lol, i love how cos your round is not going well, you think it's the mods fault.
Illegal Alliances, sure, they may exist - what do you propose to do about them? How do you identify them? How do you police them? What can be done?
So easy to criticize and say what's wrong with the game, without offering up legitimate solutions.
Torqez this problem is since the early rounds. i remembered when i offered lizzy a fully proof, in a conversation when 2 guys admited and coordonations and stuff, and nothing was made.

if is so hard to deal with it, make it legal, and that way all the problems are done. you will expect that 4 guys jump on you and take you down anytime.
just like i posted in the forum about Best Leader, about infra being so important.
and about my round, i really don't care how it goes. i didn't comed back to play and be on top or so, i play because i want to see what is around, talk with old friends, and find bugs. atm i have a new job that requires finding bugs. and if you are so offended that i said about mods, good for you! i will let you do your job and make something else!
and when i will have time, i will offer you solutions about other things.

Sure, why don't we also make multiying legal too? That way we can all have 10 accounts and do what we want. No, this isn't the solution - but at least its an idea.

Why don't you expect this anyway? It's a game - and if you're doing well, or moving strategically then obviously people will get against you. Having diplomacy is part of the game.
Yes, them doing it with coordination, is against the rules, but this isn't always easily proven. So not much mods can do. If you have a solution, then lets hear it - rather than blaming Mods.
Also, we "have" had illegal alliances permissible in some HC rounds before - just to try it.
Sorry if I come across a little harsh. It's just tiresome when people blame mods for everything. Especially ethical behaviour - which is hard to control. And not even sure if possible or that we even should.

well, allianzes was one of the proposals for this round, not sure if mods managed to arrange the allianze thingie that didnt work ok the last time it was used (in MW I guess), but I'm sure they'll think about it when its ready to be added.
Allianzes would be legal so no need for bakground agreements. Right now a NAP is a NAP and if 2 big players have a NAP (offizial or not) you kannot ezpekt they kill eazhother when aproazhing to you, they'll both go after you, but its not a IA, it is the konsekuenze of lame diplo. How do you kontrol this?? it is very komplikated.

And dipplomacy have nothing to do with illegal aliances and you know it.
Render have a point, but they don't go after you in the same time
, helping in systems where you have problems. it is another thing when you fight on 2 different systems, and when you have both on the same system, and 1 is 6 ticks away
About what others mods done, since i rejoined (2 rounds) i made 2 reclamations about illegal aliances. nothing was made, i didn't even got an responze: hey idiot there was nothing suspect. this is my problem.
And yea, i see it as a bug. if you don't like it call it how you want.
will talk with an old friend specialized in cisco to see how this can be solved.
And being harsh it is not a solution. I understand this is a frustrating job, but it is not a solution.

I agree that policing illegal agreements is impossible, and don't think that needs to be a focus of the mods and developers. Personally, I think the round has been fun though after playing to this point I have a few suggestions:
1. The map was too big. We need more players or a smaller galaxy.
2. Find target market. I have heard this is supposed to be a galaxy for new players. I have also heard that this is a SS Hardcore galaxy. First the decision has to be made which it is and then the follow through of changing rules to reflect should take place.
3. Eliminate PNAPS? Especially for the size of the player base in the galaxy, I think permanent naps can decrease interest in the game later round. If the top few empires are PNAP, they will continue to attack lower ranked and not have the fun battles against each other. One problem I have was though I'm all over the map, I have no shares with anyone in my range. I only had one good war (that I jumped way too much for, but that's another story).
All this said, again I have had a fun time and met some good people still playing this game. I think the race being the same and having access to a market while being SS wasn't bad at all.
SN is a normal SS galaxy, though many tried to play it as HC.

Cool thanks - we need feedback to see how we can tweak the next Supernova round. I've heard from a few people that the map was too big - so we can change that.
RE: Target Market - this is always a dilemma. We wanted to have a galaxy for SS players in a non HC round, so you can't get completely decimated. So we still want it competitive too. But we want 'some' kind of protection for newer players, which is where the "cores" come in.
RE: PNaps - similar to illegal alliances. We have them ingame to stop the dishonourable "omg we had a pnap but u attacked and totally killed me" type things. If we didn't - I'm sure people would still make agreements outside of the game NAP system - again, hard to police.
