I absolutely love that IC is being modernized, but what in your eyes is the final goal?  I know the controversy started about players who care deeply for this game asserting that the focus should be on getting the game to the point that we can retain veteran and new players, but what is your final plan?

2. Do you think it is wise for all of our current decision makers to be a close minded group that has little to no idea what a. the actual effects some changes will have on gameplay, and b. in general haven't played the game actively in years?

nickypoo has two questions but both are very important and popular ones.  i would like nick to ask number 1 and explain his position in 2 minutes.  i want 5 minutes open.  i want 5 minutes to explain his second question and 10 minute open discussion.

I would like to address today market which forcing people to play fam bank. Back to old market where people can logout leaving unused resources or cash to market bid expecting next login will get something worth to use, contradictary to today which most people tend to instantly buy/sell and forcing people to use fam bank strategy.

Can't you imagine newbies that only able to login for 3-4 times a day each only 30-45 mins? He have extra resources, ex. 2k irons, put bid sell on market at 11 gc and expect to have cash when next login. But the next 4 hours that bid still untouched because everyone sell bid on 10.99, only active people who can watch market every minute who can do this, is this game only for uber active people who can online for more than 50% of life.
