Re: Research planet bonus

the bonus increases you research by the designated percentage.

for example, if you have enough research centers to make 100 research points on a planet that has 30% bonus, then you would get 130 research points. this would then be increased by the race bonus if any.

Re: Research planet bonus

they work like any other bonus planet, like Valkona said, and somebody should plaze this info in big letters somewhere bekause lately I've taken a lot of good researzh planets wiht KFs on them, and those players think the szienze bonus is giving them something.
In the past +44 szienze bonus ment you had like 44 eztra RZenters, it aint that way anymore, bkause now it's 44% bonus, and 44% of zero is ZERO.

Re: Research planet bonus

I wonder if this statement is left over from an earlier time?

"Note that there are some planets with a science bonus (a picture of an atom with a number by it) - a science bonus of 50 acts as 50 extra research centres."

This is from the page:    http://imperialconflict.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=1614

It is easy to understand how some new players would think that this is true.

Re: Research planet bonus

If you research 'resources', does it also affect your research rate?  Is research a resource?

Re: Research planet bonus

No, resources are only iron, food, octarine, and endurium.

The only way to boost research points per tick, aside from building research centers, is to directly fund it with cash.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....
