Short term ememory loss will keep me from Annual:D
>>> I started a 1 year game, IC Annual. It will end June 24 2009.
For a twist you only get $1000.00 to play with. I think that's more lifelike.
Let's see who can make the most of it! Interest I think is 6%. So if you end up with $1070.00 at the end of a year, you did as well as if you stowed it in a bank.
Duh. edited to correct my bad math. <<<
I was going to do the same thing! lol. thanks.
Its ALOT more realistic
.
einstien please keep this thread clear of your hatred to obama ![]()
keep this to stock market game ![]()
and yell
only 1 grand ![]()
u guys are still playing the short term one too though right ?? ![]()
sure why not, I can crash and burn three different ways
Ugh! This game is making me understand day traders. I was up like 1.5% on my stock and then it went back down to zero... silly greedy me didn't pull the trigger and as Cramer says Bulls make money, Bears make money, but Pigs get slaughtered.
lol hehe
exactly ![]()
now...just wait for it to turn around ![]()
sorry mate, tis the truth. Look so close at your candidate and you will probably forswear politics for a decade
Einstein... you have politics to say stuff like that. He explicitly asked you to stop in his thread as the intension of this thread is to be a fun investing competition. Please respect his wishes.
hehe einstein
i could care less ![]()
listen to question..he's a wise man ![]()
EDIT: by the way, i'm in a dillema now
i have a great penny stock, i know the bottom of this stock and the top, and i can make some big bucks like i did in my school competition but i have no cash, for that i'd have to sell RIG ...which i would hate cuz that's one of my fav stocks
and i know that's guna hit over 162 within the next few weeks ![]()
This is about investing. Politics affects the market in many ways.
[Trolling - this is a warning Flint : Keep this in Politics, PLEASE].
Obama's policies will severely hurt the United States stock market. Proper choices on it will save investors trillions.
well we're not there yet and i'm not in the year game so i don't have to worry about it ..ba bye now ![]()
*tips his hat to skoe ..thank you skoe, i'm glad i didn't have to read what you edited out ![]()
Has that greedy feeling again. His stocks are up and is finally in positive net terriroty even considering trading and selling fees should he sell [yes], will he sell [no], why? Cause he's greedy
.
Ohhh......OK.......Im in.
Where to? will log in mourning, and set up account.
to lazy to scroll back....sorry.
I can start a british version of this to if you wish.
www.bullbearings.com run pretty much identically but off the London FTSE. I have been playing these types of games for years having only made a loss once. I should really invest lol.
Yell Im coming for ya ![]()
Black_Wing: Search for "IC Annual" for the 1 year $1000 game!
NOOO BW come to the IC Stock Competition
or join both..i wanna kick your ass
i'm atleast guna try this time ![]()
I think im doomed for the IC Stock comp lol. I wonder if i can loose *all* my money...
skoe you can reset if you want...i won't mind unless u win ![]()
i can still kick ur ass hehe ![]()
BW the site is
www.investopedia.com
Look for and join "IC Stock Competition"
BTW
desperate times calls for desperate measures. Look folkes I'm shorting my first stock
... This sucks, would have made 2600 if only it would move my trade from pending to sold.
It's not fair!
I can't sell my short because nobody is selling enough of the stock for me to complete the transaction which you now make me about 3600
Even better than yesterday. So I think I know how it goes now. In a bear market make cash from shorts:D Much much easier to predict the falling ones than the rising ones.
Might not be only online
Now I know what its like to ride a canoe over a waterfall ![]()
