Topic: attacking with new map

its bloody annoying, you go to perform an op on that planet - it takes you to the old ops page away from the map, then you have to remember the coordinate or back a few times on your browser. also trying to enter fleet amounts on the new map page is a pain, you cant just use tab to get to next line, its like 3 tabs or something.

anyway annoying?!?!?!

Re: attacking with new map

btw, i dont have a constructive way of fixing this, just thought i would let you know so maybe someone smart will know of a way to sort it smile

Re: attacking with new map

Ah, yea I just get the systems and type them into the side bar to bring up the old system page tongue

Re: attacking with new map

Yeah, I either log the system/planet or just message the co-ords to myself. smile

Re: attacking with new map

if you leave a system open in the new map, then jump to another page by clicking on a link in the sidebar. When you go back to the map it will reopen the same system as long as you haven't logged out.

or at least it does for me.

Ignore Render for helping? Nah man, Render is right, I should know as he quoted me, and I'm always right. Cumsville was asking for alternate ways to having to go back and forth from the new map just to OP some punk. You [need some candy]. Ha! big_smile

Re: attacking with new map

Calling people noobs and then telling them to use a less effective means of doing the job is not trying to help at all, Forever.

Both Undeath's and Thor's options are effective.  Yours/Renders is just adding more work than he is already complaining about having to do =P

Also, This thread probably belongs in the new map forum section =P

it will open that or wahtever the new map wants to open at any point, it is a beta and not trustworth, the movement trhu the map is terrible, the zooming is terrible, you get lost of your position by any slight move you do on your mouse, it takes too long to load, even more with a big map, the edges are not determined, the koords dont zoom out with the map, the sidebars arrows get lost down when you add more than 4 systems lists, several times you have to delete and re-do your lists bekause the kolours arent being applied and you see no systems selekted, whenever you want to seek a lokation that's not your kore you get lost 99% of times and random systems are opened while you try to set the fokus in the right area, bekause it gets moved everytime you zoom out/in, and a lot more .... (go to map forum and read them all, you'll find me there)

ANY other option is better than going bak to the new map, PERIOD.

Re: attacking with new map

It actually goes back to the last system you had opened.  Never had it go to the wrong one.

Re: attacking with new map

yes you kan go bak if you want, I wont go bak to a bugged area of the game, if you opened the system page in the new map to send fleets or ezplore planets you should know there are several bugs about it, and the safest way to do it is by opening the system in the old map, where u kan log it btw, now tell me where's the option to log a system in the new map?

keep it on mate, if you want to see a white horse, then I will tell you it's a white horse and everyone's happy, every fool with his theme, yours is a great failure at trolling me, go on, I'm having fun smile

You don't have to worry about going to any part of the game as you are retired yet spend more time on here than most people.  You can log the systems very easily actually with the new map.  You click create list, click on systems, save the list and it's all saved there and you can open up the list as well as see it on the map.  So there is your "option to log a system in the new map?"

Those lists can also be shared with your family members as well so that the family members know what you are hitting and can then use that information to plan their attacks as well.

The functions are there and very easy to use.

Re: attacking with new map

You also have to reload the new map to update it, which takes too long to open in the first place lol. Logging the system/planet is the best way, you can also write a plan/idea for it at the same time... Still the best way imo.

The map opens at the same speed as any other page in the game.

Re: attacking with new map

THIS MAP IS CRAP..
Week 18, 7        After a brave fight our family member X had to flee the planet X system which was attacked by x of family x.

and by Earth (GMT): 10:04 | Supernova: Week 39, 7
Great Ruler! The rules set by the Galactic Overseers™ prevent us from attacking. The family the ruler of this planet belongs to has a net worth less than 40% of our own family's networth. We are not at war with that empire's family, nor have they done any hostile actions against us within the last 72 hours.
---------
i cant even RETAKE the planet i just lost bcoz of that dumb rule which says NO HOSTILE ACTION (so u saying someone udner 40% could take my planet n i cant retaliate)?? its not even pass 24hours YET
-----
than please DEFINE the meaning of HOSTILE ACTION to ME!

Re: attacking with new map

attacking under 40% is bugged in the new map, use the side bar. Old Map or fam news to attack.

Re: attacking with new map

there should be a way that when u click to do an op on that planet it doesnt open in a new page but on the current page that ur on, that way u can do the op and attack right after on the same page.

what Valcona says works but it gets annoying cause it has to load it all everytime.
