If you can not hit read the menu, hit the right arrow key.

It brings up a menu that can be read on the left hand side, to get rid of it, his the left arrow key.

To be honest, I love the changes, but it's a little hard to read, please change the contrast between the written and the background. Something that I feel could work is if y'all, made the text a lighter color. Maybe even white.

After playing around with this a little more, I've found another issue, and that's housed in the map. My problem is you have to scroll down to see your planets, from there you can't toggle on and off things like my systems, allies, enemies, that sort of thing, without having to scroll back up. It becomes a pain. Maybe if you changed it's view able pixels to something like 1200 by 1200, or some other size square. Potentially that would fix the problem.

map is horrible. it wassnt great before this change. has just been made worse =/
and not having the abbility to jump to fam #'s and systems will make attacking time consuming and very boring.

i can only have my screen the size of my phone screen, i cant acceas the right hand side of my screen. And worse, when i open the menu mu screen halfs. I cannot play from my phone :'(.

I hate the picture in the back ground.  I really don't want to read word with a picture back ground.  It hurts my eys.  Could we have a solid back ground.

Other then that, I like it.  Great job.

Ok to confirm, Its prolly really nice on pc's or "good" phones lol. Please give me a setting to view it as it preiviously was? smile

For Build Units.....please change to "insert numbers in box" instead of "scrolling numbers"

try clearing cash on the PC. there was an issue with the map that has been corrected.
your browser cache may be holding the buggy code.

yes the width issue is being addressed

The side bar only goes covert ops for me, and the menu disapears completely if u navitagate to various places such as rankings and forum.

Ill see if I can find anything else for you guys to fix tongue

Personally I'd rather the crew that runs imperial conflict, utilize there time in impproving this new system than spend the time allowing players to revert back to the old. The aesthetics improvements could possibly lead to new players, which this game so desperately
needs.

I don't mean a full rollback, so default would be new layout - but give an option in preferences to use old layout - so it is only visible for the user you chooses it

I voted NO, Torqez is working hard to make it playable, the game passed from impossible to mainly playable in just 2 days, so lets give it a zhanze and go on with the new stuff, bekause at this paze it will soon be ready and fully playable for all. 
I mean, while you get the results of this poll, the game will be ready.

It's not really all that different from the old layout it's just had a face lift and a kick into the present

No, this game finally has a new layout so would you want to change it... we basically warped 10 years with this layout update..

now this is only about 2-3 days old, and needs some work here & there. But mainly, i'm really glad to see these changes..

suggesting to go back to the old layout would just be a slap in the face of the designers... imo

i think the new sidebar should be a constant like the old one was, like when your in forums and stuff.

also some of the features of the 'marble' sidebar im really missing, like being able to jump to a certain family or system, and being able to jump straight to the fam news and send aid pages too.

you guys missed the point, you_fool wants an OPTION, for people who prefer old layout, to be able to use said layout.

i for one would like the choice, because i do like the old layout, the new one has promise but sometimes people just like to stick to what they had. (its like the fact the old map is now in hq for people who prefer to use that)

& your family doesn't stand out like it did before, that was a nice add on which would improve this layout i believe.

aside from that, good job devs/mods the background in particular is cool smile

I can see the appeal for longtime players, but having the old look as an option is way more expensive in terms of time spent than you might think. Time better spent improving important things.

Some sort of skin down the line, sure, but our priority currently is to grow the user base to avoid having the game die completely.

I shall wait for themes/skins for the new layout then... If it is a lot of work then obviously it is not an option, however this poll still has value in seeing the demand for such a skin.

Also don't get me wrong, I do like the new layout as well, it just sometimes is annoying - getting better without bugs but I know it will still annoy me sometimes even when it becomes playable for me.
