Did anyone attack the Tokaasi Empire?  If so I think the AI is working perfect.  It's learning from what most our players do when attacked...quit tongue

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

well at the time I had edited the post, I didn't know he was talking about the Tokaasi empire.

however, it does fall under the heading of illegal alliences (I think)

posting specific information, gives someone else an advantage they might not have had. Kind of like saying, "hey so and so doesn't have any lasers."
someone that might not have looked at him, or couldn't do a PI might all of a sudden decide to raid because of the info.

Valcona: 1 point, this galaxy is specifically set up as players v computer - it should be a co-operative type galaxy in regards to action against the Tokasi? It can't be IA for us to act against the evil Tokasi who are here to destroy our culture... Also it isn't a person but a computer...

SS means "self-sufficient". And there is only 1 player allowed per family. As there are no alliances, then the IA rules apply, and no 2 families can work together...so...discrete was corrrect.

except that isn't the 'story' behind the galaxy - it is much more us vs them - so why no co-operation? One the external threat is nullified then maybe time for some backstabbing of allies.... i mean... err.... lets get that Tokassi scum!
