i did and it comes up with something but:
- it doesn't look like the map files i normally have
- it has a lot of non existing systems in it

what am i doing wrong? What am i supposed to fill in for pw now?

Ok, I will explain here how you do it:) since so many ask me this question. This is an example of MW mapfile:

Horizontal coordinate count: 100  ( since the map goes from 1 - 100 )
Vertical coordinate count: 100 ( same as above)
Horizontal sector count: 2 ( since the map has 2 sectors horizontal and vertical )
Vertical sector count: 2 ( same as above)
Galaxy Description: The name of the file.. Whatever you want it to be called
Galaxy ID: 1 ( This is the GAL ID set by IC team. All IDs are desplayed in the script )

After this push Create!

Since  you download a .dat file directly some anti spam systems will look at this as spam or dangerous content. So that might be a reason why some have a problem getting the file.
