Topic: What are "Core Systems"?

Hi all,

I used to play this game a few years ago and have just come back for another attempt playing in the Supernova galaxy.  In the announcement it mentions "Core Systems", this is a new concept since I last played so I don't fully understand.

Could someone perhaps link me to the announcement when it was first introduced?

So does this mean that if I can hold onto an entire system for 7 days, it becomes impossible to attack for the rest of the round?

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Well Sith "Core Systems" are usually the closest systems to your home system. In a regular galaxy those are the systems where bankers and recoursers will be in quickly. Its not an introduction by the mods or anything players just made this up usually to include them in a NAP proposal so that the other fam is forbidden to attack in it.

So the announcement for the core systems isnt there since its not officially been introduced by the moderators but more of a known terms for the players reguraly playing this game. Hope this answers that part.

For the 7 days: Yes if you fully explored a system and you can hold onto it fully for 7 days without anybody else ever comming into it then you will have it secured and thus impossible to be attacked in there. This is only so for 3 systems and your home system according to announcement.

Hope this answers your question

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Makes sense, thank you!

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Just to clarify, it's 3 systems including your home system. So home system plus 2 others.

<&InSaNe> so for reference tco has a ticklish bumhole
<@SerialBusiness> good to know. I will make a note of this

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Which 2 others? (i.e. if one has 10 such systems he/she held for 7 days)

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Jaguar, it would be the first two held. If you can explore and fill 10 systems simultaneously then good luck to you, you clearly don't need cores tongue

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

A counter would be nice, and the location of the system it's referring to!

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Or some visual to let everyone else in the galaxy know that X system is a protected core.

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

Come on guys, you don't need a baby sitter here, when you expo the last planet in a system, log it. Not too hard to figure out how long 7 days is.

Re: What are "Core Systems"?

What happens if you fill multiple systems at the same tick & hold them for 7 days? Does it go by order you sent expos, like when 2 people send for the same planet?
