Yeah it was pretty funny indeed, but we should rather make an "offtopic" or "random" thread so we dont have to make a new one everytime we want to tell people about something like this! Thread closed!
Nevermind this: Go ahead.
ah thanks
at least one other person read all the books and was waiting for everybody's head to explode ![]()
TBH I thought it would be more bloody ![]()
i really thought it was gonna be the season finale, but i guess jon snow will have that honor.
Indeed ER, thought so as well.
I liked the buildup to the RW, the happening in itself was OK I guess, but the ending scene was really bad..

Gogo Imp!
GOT a story of death.
I don't know if I'll ever finish reading the series. I've read 1-4, but I'm tired of every character I like dying. If I ever read the story of Arya's death I think I would spend about 3 days locked up in my bedroom grieving.
I thought the actual scene of it was poorly done.

I kind of agree, but at the same time - it's also what's keeping me hooked. You never know what's happening since there is no real protagonist any character is eligible to die which makes the series very unpredictable. Though I'm having a really hard time believing he'll kill them all off. And for every character being killed provides new interesting characters and/or plottwists in the other character's stories.
He introduces new characters or increases the role of others. However if my favorite character ever dies ill be sad. Whiskeyjack style.
Also yea, I get how the style can be intriguing, but it doesn't do it for me. My favorite part of the fantasy genre is getting to watch characters develop in complex systems that frequently defy laws in the real world. Seeing characters live just long enough for me to fall in love with them sucks.
I blame Bear and Alundra
Miller got the idea for the massacre from Scots history
anybody ever read "Red Harvest" by Dashiell Hammett?
A private eye is brought into a gang war by a millionaire. He's being blackmailed by 4 gang bosses he hired to break a strike. The private eye "solves" this by having all the gangsters murder each other until anybody who knew the millionaire was guilty, is dead. Then the millionaire is free to bribe the governor into calling out the National Guard to kill the remaining gangsters.
I smell that sort of ending coming...
