Topic: Cannot attack player that attacked me (within last 72 ticks)

Earth (GMT): 10:40 | Triangulum: Week 27, 10


Recent report:
Week 12, 10    Defense Report
Our planet z at x:xx, y:yy was attacked by Galeonis of family 8002, I am pleased to say that we with our forces extraordinary fighting skill were able to fight the attackers off our planet.
In the fight we lost 1 fighters 9 laser turrets

When i try to clear this guy:
Great Ruler! The rules set by the Galactic Overseers™ prevent us from attacking. The ruler of this planet is less than 35% of our own networth. We are not at war with that empire's family, nor have they done any hostile actions against us within the last 72 hours.
   

Now the 35% rule applies , as this guy is waaaay smaller then me, and so is the fam. But attacking me should imo ignore all these rules and just let me attack him.

Please investigate this matter as i now cant clear this guy, while i actually do want to.

It was my planet to start with, the guy tried to take it, failed...

This would make me able to attack him, but it doesnt.

He can do this as many times as he want, and i wont be able to retaliate, pretty serious bug if you ask me.

That's happened to meh twice now that you mention.... hmm

One life to live in is all that a person needs. When traveling down a road looking for the ascension to greater things, all that really matters is the way you got to the end, when you reach your final destination did you help or hurt more?

Ok it was tested and it seemed to work.  Does the same player that attacked you still own the planet? They didn't planet swap?

Nope, they didnt, he has multiple planets in that system, anyway how did you test? This fam is waaaaaaay smaller then us, so may be the 35% nw between fam blocks the attacks?

We have a dev test site. 
My family size: 484943    
His family size: 13242

Will still keep looking into it tho.

Found the problem. Until it is fixed either enter the coords thru the side bar or clicking on them thru the family news.

my fams got the opposite problem, fam that shouldnt be able to attack us can. no-ones opped them or anything. thought it maybe a random that joined, opped & deleted but theres no starting units in pw

I'm in Firefox's fam and can confirm this.  We only had 3 members at the time who could of opped or attacked and no one did.  I'd test it out but there is no fam small enough to send a test fleet. Wondering if it is a bug or the gal mistakenly got setup without a fam nw limit, since it was pretty customized.  If it's the latter then I guess it's the honor sys this round, which could be very interesting to see who sticks to/enforces it.  The attacker that attacked was in our individual nw ranges, but his fam was well above our overall nw range.

can't attack player below 35% that attacked me that we are at war with.  this is only in the new map, side bar or old map works fine.  in new maps says the usual your not at war or been attacked by this player.
