Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

This is by far the worst look of mw I've seen in years and I'm barely leading haven't even logged in much and its horrible

i tried to tell mods several times its not that many leaders does anyone listen no.. they just think im ranting.. what IC has what 200 players if that lol even if u did the math on everything it still dont add up to the specs of the gal we have now.. its not wise to make more fams.. u wanna lessen the fams and more the sizes of the fams bigger otherwise u get another dead shit ass round

I agree with donald, this round sucks, I'm stuck with 1 other active person, pretty sure a fam full of multi's, an SS that hasn't responded to anything.

Close it up, do what Torq says, no more fam galaxies, 1 person fams, etc etc.

run the 1 man gal as a standard (a long round) and then open PW for teams, so you kan play both.

I think PW just did it.  But sign up for a round that you want to play with and in a family.  Put into a que, when the maximum number of players is reached, 150 players.  So 10 families, 15 players.  It randomly assigns you to a family.  Three days for it to start and go.

You sign up for the family under the condition that you will be active and will be with family bank.

Can also put in a que for Leaders.  People that want to lead should be given a privilege or benefit so more want to do it.

One of the other things I think would be beneficial for the game is to change "family defense" to family bank.

It should be implemented instead of sending player to player.  Send it into the bank.  The leader of vice leader can withdrawl from the bank.  If none of them can be online.  The leader or vice leader can add in "Arby is allowed to withdrawl 1 million gc, 500,000 iron, 250,000 endo" in advance.  So they can withdrawl but it doesn't get abused.

Oh and decay will still apply, so it's not abused that way either.

I did however say, merge all galaxies so all our player base is one galaxy - this can be standard Fam play.

And then have one galaxy for SS play.

Then the variation of the SS play one, is SS with no market and no aid sending, but in a fam.

The fam dynamic is what makes IC unique.  We just need to make people more responsible for their own empires (by being SS and allowed to bank + attack + whatever) and need to limit how inactives can decimate your fam (for now, 1 man fams solves this).


What you were probably referring to, was when I suggested that the SS galaxy could be the mainstream (whether in fam or solo), and then the Fam Play (with aid sending and cooperation) is a priveledged thing every round, with full drafts, etc.

In reality, there's so many options.  But yea, 'something' should be done.

im not a SS player never have never will be.. i like the idea of Mw changing to a full out draft session..  like ICPG was.. but the problem their is not everyone will sign up people will fall threw the cracks not everyone will be picked up.. if only mods where paid for the time maybe they could find out peoples average login times and have posted details and info about everyone kinda like a player statictics card u know.. how many rounds.. usual role.. activity.. etc etc
