new posts link doesn't work if it's supposed to lead you to the newest page of posts.  im using google chrome for forum. not sure if the same for other browsers.

it works but it always lead you to the same 'new' posts no matter you have read them about 100 times

works fine for firefox.

I have noticed that IE doesn't mark post as read  after you have viewed them. you have to do it manually.

I'm also having troubles with this. Some threads become marked as read, some I can read forever. Also, if you read an unread thread and use the "Back" button to get back to the forums it doesn't check out as read. It's as if the function that checks the thread as read only occurs when clicking a new link, it should happen when you enter the thread.

I'm using Google Chrome of course.

Yup Ive had issues with this. U just have to clear your cache. then re mark all forums are read. it works for a while but is random when it glitches

Keerb and Alundra, I believe Crome is IE based, so would have the same problems that IE does. (see my previous post).
With IE I have to list all new posts, then manually click mark all as read.


using the back button will never show the thread just read as read, since it reloads the page from cache. you need a fresh load to show the read threads.

yeah,phones cache a lot to reduce data transfer and network usage.
I think you can set certain pages to always refresh.

well it seems like a useless link if it doesnt work with all browsers.  i'd rather click on the latest number page if i wanted to see new posts and scroll down.
