Lovely, just lovely...

Its been plain as day about what the proceedings was going to be, and all we get is shit from you players about getting this setup. Majority of you all still seem to be clueless on what it takes to setup a galaxy, especially when its a mess ball of a one like discussed here. Pointing the finger at KT when she has been actively chasing up IDs getting ready to place ppl and defining the setup with me is BS.

And tbh, Im over getting slammed too about getting this up and running. Tri was always going to be a short chaos round. PW players arent the only ones that play this game and majority of you all are acting like selfish fools! Lemme guess, if this round doesnt pan out, that will be the mods fault also? Ppl dropping out left, right and centre cause they cant complete a full round cause were starting 2 weeks later than what they thought is BS also, the round was going to run for 6-7 weeks. Starting the round 2 weeks late because your all suddenly busy in couple of weeks still means you wouldnt have completed the full round.

Youve lost one mod on your side trying to help put this together and your damn close to losing the last one in your corner also.

NAPs unlimited - Were unsure if there is a hard cap on NAPs at the moment, though we can set this up as Normal, and just leave the hard cap.

What us mods are unsure about:

If you have 3 extra fams, they wont fill, be terribly disadvantaged etc etc... If you have one extra fam, it will lead to friends illegally drafting into it, leaving the fams they left short disadvantaged. Only way we can see this is if we have 6 player fams to allow a random after we open it to the public, but nothing has been bought up about that even though KT has been asking the questions...

I already gave up, no-ones fault but all of ours, if guys like insane and torqez would just shut their mouths, start helping and stop trolling, this would have gotten off easier and quicker, surely all you douche bags could have taken this into IRC or even private messages so this sham-fest didn't have to get personal.. You live and learn I guess..

I must agree with Poley, I'm appalled by all the players and leaders just announcing they are dropping out just because "they won't be able to finish the round". You knew this round was going to be around 6 weeks at least. You can't blame suddenly finding out you would not be able to be there somewhere mid round if round were to start next week, you'd have missed out anyways!

At least try to arrange some sort of replacement! I know I am, as I will be gone for all of next week, so that in case the round starts by then (which seems highly unlikely) my family will at least not be left in the cold. And I was probably the least serious going into this, trying to create Team Asia which became a huge failure when Parrot was too slow, Miqqy didn't have time and Geese got stolen from me! tongue

Throwing sticks and stones at the mod team, whoever it is, doesnt help the situation...

I would have been fine setting this up today/tomorrow with KT but waking up to this shit leaves me half interested, like I said, we got majority of what is needed and a select few bitching and moaning about it all is all it takes for me to go spend some time outside with my kids instead of listening to this crap over and over. Render, Im mostly disappointed in you for throwing these accusations without having a clue what goes on behind the scenes...

I dont undestand what you say, but if the ally thing is bugged then dont set ally at all.

I dont kare if those 3 fams arent filled, they had 2 weeks to read the forums and sign up, I dont kare if they are in terrible disadvantage, if we have 1 eztra fam and friends illegally draft into it they are welkome.
If 6 players fams is the solution then do it that way.


I'm not gonna diskuss anymore whose fault is this, bekause in the end its gonna be my fault for trying something to keep the game alive, when the game is dead.

i agree. with you here Poley. its much easier to increase the family size than the other way for sure.

i know you've been working hard and i honestly think that things started to get complicated by adding all sorts of other stuff into the mix. my understanding was that renders plan for trying to give all familys a fairer start with an even amount of members was a way of testing and looking at alternatives to the current randoming system which does appear to be unfair.

anything that is asked for or deviates from the original idea really isn't needed and some aren't even viable

is it possible to just place the teams in a normal pw galaxy with max fam members to be 6-7 to account for any late randoms?

do 12 fams of 6 players eazh then, that's 72 players, klose to the original idea of 75 players, so you dont have to zhange anything else (size, etz..)

sorry if I have no mind powers to see how aktively you've been working, maybe if any of you had the zharity of sending me a msg about it then I wouldnt be making false assumptions.  I feel like I stablished a kommunikation that failed somewhere in the way hmm

this whole damn thing started off when torq made it known that he wanted to get rid of pinwheel and it snowballed from there. torq is a developer not a mod anymore ...

MJ the mods are to blame for having this setup opened for 2 weeks and staying unaware of what was going on, like if they were klosed in their tower of glass.  And they are mistaken by thinkin' I am their enemy, just bekause I blamed them when the bigbug happened.  I remember Pie saying there was no red button in the modteam bunker, but that's wrong, I am your red button mods.

Now you kan love me or hate me, I wont be politikally korrekt when there's an emergenzy alert. And I will try to help despite it hurts some egos.

btw you'll have to remove ghost spots, if that is not possible  (if you are so damn hand tied) then pik the option you like more.  I jsut say leaving 5 fams bloked by ghost spots would be very unfair.

Torquez you do great work for IC on the dev level and I'm always appreciative but I'm seeing to much arguing about issues that are normally left to left to the mods hmm You are of course, entitled to say what you feel and I don't hold it against you. Please remember that your position is viewed similarly to a mod and intentions can be misconstrued easily. Thank you for all your good work on the IC code smile

I feel every one should take a step back and reflect why everyone may be a bit flustered the past few weeks. The chaos last round for example and the pressure to get two galaxies back up and running.

A lot of constructive work may have been derailed from arguments. This has caused some anxiety among the players and mods. However I saw the majority of players supporting this, got it done as promptly as they could and feel like there is some effort that needs to come forth elsewhere. Truth is you guys are right  that most of us don't know what it takes to make the galaxy. That's why I asked twice what was going on, one time saying that I didn't see what the issue was. I'm sure if some one would let us know through official means we would be a bit more understanding and patient. The announcement page makes a huge difference in how everyone sees progress in IC. I'm talking to people that don't think the round will start with renders idea at all. Partly because they haven't seen announcements on homepage. This makes us feel a little abandoned. I'm not saying this is the case. The issue to me is communication. That's an easy fix in my eyes. smile

Truth is no one is to blame.  We all want something from IC and form the community.  I think the big thing is everyone is afraid of losing players for this reason and that. No one wants to cause more grief to the game than is needed. Some feel expedience is needed to keep people and some feel a level of caution is needed. I don't think any one wants IC or PW to die. Remember we all have a lot invested into this community. We just need communication and a little guidance.

The most damaging statement here is 2 out of 6 mods were even willing to help 50+ players who wanted something different and fun for ONE round lol, maybe the Mod team has to seriously look at themselves and ask if they are taking the game in the right direction. Thank you Poley and KT for at least trying.

a mod should never be trolling, no matter he's a good fella and is probably writing it as a joke, it gives a very poor image of the mod krew. A new player reading it will think the modteam is not serious.

I feel its absolutely dumb to stop Tri early because some players wont be able to play the end of PW.  Even if one of them is Render Render Solar Defender!   Is it a good idea? Yes.  Is it the best thing since ICPG?  Yes!  Will it begin before everyone loses interest? NO!
