Q - Why does Welfare Science not seem to raise my population?

Welfare only updates once every day. (in the early GMT morning). This is because it requires massive calculations and the server couldn't handle this every hour. So just wait till the next day and you will see the effect kicking in.

Q - Why do I get the message 'The Universe is Updating'?

The Universe updates on the whole hour (a little before that). If its updating continously try clearing your cache.

Q - I'm having problems with my VIP.

There are several problems you may encounter:

1) The family you're attemtping to join is full: the family has all of it's members so you can't join them. No solution here.

2) This families draft spots are all used: there are already 4 spots filled of the type you're trying to use. No solution for this.

3) You supplied the wrong code: get it resent from the forgot password page. The friend code might be wrong in this email, so ask for the friend code from the VIP; he/she will have the correct code in his/her preferences. If there isn't a code, it has already been used.

4) You still havent received your code and it has been 24 hours: Safe to say Stefan is behind on that. It will take a few days. If you still dont have one by then and you donated through PayPal, ask a mod to update the donations list.

If you encounter any issues with time delays on recieving a VIP you have paid for join #mod on irc and speak to one of the moderators, they will be more than happy to help (no matter how much they pretend to complain)

Q - Why is my family chat not working?

Ask your leader to set a family chatroom. Or, if one is already set, ask your leader to delete the '#' in the channel name.

Q - I can't go to the site! I get the message 'Cannot Find Server!'

The Imperial Conflict server sometimes experiences a lot of lag, due to lots of people being on the server at the same time (or for other reasons). Sometimes this will result in you not being able to do the things you want to do on the site. Try again at a later time. With the replacement of the old server this is less of an issue, barring external attacks on the website

Q - I performed Check Allies and I got a blank page as the result. Why?

Q - My playing account says "Play as [name] of [name] in" and when I click I just get a bunch of numbers with commas!

Post in the bugs forum so the mods can tell Stefan to run the cleaning script. It may not be the prettiest script, but the developers aredoing their best to make it work better.

Q - Building bug

A number of people recently have been getting the following error:

You have encountered a game error. If the problem persists, mention it in the Bugs forum. Attach this information:

You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'and owner = '[5 digit number]' group by owner' at line 4

This error is caused by trying to build on a planet that isn't yours. There are a few resons for this error, but the main one is trying to build using the "Try again" button which is given to you over the tick.
If you receive this error, simply go back and try again.

Q - I have 111% morale!

This is not a bug, it is due to rounding. For example, you have 110.6%, which is rounded to 111%.

Q - My recent reports say that I have built buildings on a planet that isn't mine.

This is a known bug, and is you getting a message intended for someone else. The reason for this is unknown.

The Galactic Post Office is the worst there is.

Q - "Game is having a bad day" or "The game is currently under heavy stress. Please try again later."

Basically, you're limited to a certain amount of requests per minute, and if you pass that you get that screen. That means that bots used for scanning and other mass requests are slowed down. Sadly, it also means that legitimate requests that hit the "throttle" get stopped, but since they're legitimate you can just try them again.

You have tried to recall the fleet twice. ie, clicked on the recall button twice. This is most likely due to lag. The game eventually processes the first request, but still logs the second and when it tries to process it, there is no fleet to recall.
