Good thankyou Poley for clearing that up I feel its absolutely dumb to stop Tri early because some players wont be able to play the end of PW. Even if one of them is Render Render Solar Defender!

What you have asked for

size we akkomodate for 125 ppp (planets per player)

PW is already set on 5 eships
It is pretty identical except now you have asked for drafting which PWers have been so adamantly against. You want this to start immediately. If we open PW we have to open MW. Therefore there will be 4 galaxies running. The reason that Tri was opened for a short round was the admin told us to get something running. We couldnt have a serious round of anything at that time due to the bugs that totally messed up the Universe.
You want allies, but I dont think that bug fix iis done yet. A lot of things have to be taken into consideration and not just one galaxy.
Hope this clears up some things regarding why Tri was opened and not knowing how long the bug fix was going to take.

Although I think Render wanted 3 fams for randoms and those that didn't get on any of the teams of leaders?
So 15 fams of 5 = 75 players total
125 * 75 = 9375 planets total
9375 / 550 = 17 planet/system (should be doable right?)
And what's this about a bug with alliances?
Dont forget he wants this opened up to the public after a couple days so more players will be joining. We have to make the families bigger to accommodate this. You can't forget that part. We cannot add families only spots for players after the round has started so what is started with for family amounts is what it is. Also we are not supposed to add spots too much later in the round because Elro said it would create bugs.
About allies, last round they either couldn't drop an ally, or re-ally after dropped, some got the Pnap some did not.
Also we can't put in the amount of systems but can only get close somewhat to the number. If we hit the nail on the head then we are lucky.

You're wrong, remember when we asked for PW to be turned into KOTH and all those players left? Oh wait you're right.
i believe the original intention of renders idea was to somehow make the randoming more equal and this way was his best idea of achieving this. pw is still pw and i dont think round stats should be changed. the problem with starting a round with some families having 8 and some having 4 people still needs to be addressed. at least this time we all start on an even footing
but this whole thing started off with someone (not a mod) threatening the existence of pw, and pw players once again, have come back in force to try and prevent this. we are afterall a pretty strong community ![]()

If Render wants to have 3 random families how fair is going to be to those other players joining in against 12 pre set families? How does this help the randoming?
Very nicly put KT,, about the only thing different is the drafting, and I recall some people suggesting 1 draft spot and everyone getting all uppity about it and now there is in essence 4 drafts, (assuming one would random, and draft the other 4) it's pointed out, and people still complain, we just wan1ted to try something new. Geez people at least get your story straight before whining
meh.. im just trying to figure out the reasoning behind 3 families starting with a disadvantage over the others and it is supposed to level out the randoming... if anything the pre-set families should be the ones the others random into

I just have questions and hope things work out.
The way I can see it KT is like this. Some people don't read forums, just weren't smart enough to sign up for the placements, or simply will be joining late. So in essence they need room to have a place to go as well, if we knew who these "randoms" would have been than we could have placed them in families as well as everyone else. But I could almost guarantee within like 3 days of it starting, if we didn't have those "random" fams people would say "Why cant I join?" So its a catch 22 you lose or you lose, thx for the work you guys.

Actually, I was the one that raised the question about Randoms.
Then Render added 3 'random' fams as a result. That was one of his options. The other option was to send the randoms to MW.
