Not sure this is a bug or just an oversight but atm, in fam news, the Kill Scientists op show something like this in fam news:

Week 39, 26        Many of our scienctists suddenly died by heart attacks today our wizards report that this was caused by magic from (Name), we lost 3% of our total collected research.

It doesnt tell who the op was cast on, shouldnt it show this?

Indeed,

from FAQ:

Destroy Iron: Your magicians try to cast a spell making the targets iron become highly radiated, causing the iron to be unusable for the empire. If successful 3% to 10% of the target empires iron will be destroyed.
Shows up in the enemies recent reports when succeeding.

The op I am referring to is Kill Scientists Sol. In fam news it says who casted it, but it doesnt say whose Scientists were killed :s

I think this spell is personal and should not appear in the fam news (you know about it from your personal reports).
However, the outgoing message (in the caster fam) should be showed, so other attacker in that fam knows the enemy military capacity has been reduced (in case the target is an enemy attacker).

I ezplain it better in the ideas thread.

lol, was actually going through some really old threads ..in here and in Ideas

its suprising how many times stuff crop up ....i resisted the urge bump 'all' the fixed ones tongue

i kinda like the [FIXED] tag tongue

Can't do it on threads created before the forum upgrade tho sad
