lol, don't misunderstand me. My ideas are just that. My ideas. I've only ever been saying why I think the way I do. And I've always qualified it with that I might not be right.
Do I like Render's Idea? Yes.
Do I like Pinwheel? Yes.
Do I like Milky Way? Yes.
Do I still think a merge is the best way forward for now? Yes.

Please Torq dont plaze words in my mouth I did not say. In other thread I opened I said PW was not the 'ideal' plaze for beginners but never said they'd have to be sent to MW (where they would be killed off or farmed to deletion), I talked about a "New Virgo" and there are several threads in ideas bout bringing Virgo bak with refreshed air.
Despite this, we in PW welkome the newbies that show interest in the game, I felt really sad this round when the new guy in our fam read my HQ message about the reset and asked "then that means we will not play together anymore? 
"
That's saddens me and DK a lot, bekause that guy was learning the game from us and was haveing fun, everyday more implikated in the family goals and more aktive. Now that kommunikation is lost, and if he ever joins MW he's gonna be treated like trash. This is the reason we need an effektive Virgo.
About this setup I'm planning, there are still room for randoms, and I'd wish all the randoms would be new players willing to learn and every fam kould have one in their files, that'd be awesome, but how kan you set that?? you kan't, bekause the reality showed how 90% of the randoms are either multis or inaktive guys that dont even answer a welkome message. Gimme the ability or the power to plaze 1 aktive new player in every fam and I'll do it, but you and I know that's impossible.
Lets see, I say we need variety, but also say t's a luxury we can't afford right now - so you call me silly?

1. no i did not call you silly for repeating what i said about needing variety nor for your comment about it being a luxury we cant afford. but i did call you silly for bringing two other galaxies into the mix that are not even a small part of this conversation since they have already been mothballed for a very long time
2. i called you silly for saying that renders idea was for new players to go to mw for help and guidance where in fact he didn't say that at all and the fact that he spends so much time helping new players makes that statement really silly
3. i called you silly for taking part sentences from an entire post and calling them illogical. with those 6 words you are blatantly calling me a fool
i am fighting to keep a galaxy that plays what i believe to be an integral part in keeping IC alive. short rounds (that fits in better with some peoples real lives), a more relaxed play and definitely a friendlier atmosphere (which you can easily see from the difference in the threads posted from each galaxy during a round)
what are you fighting for?
IMO, I think the proof is in the pudding on how passionate the PW players when you just look at this sign up thread compared to the MW sign up thread, wait I think my mouse wheel is broken from scrolling down the page to find the MW one 
(The MW one being a joke at the moment with 80% trolls and close to zero decent content 
)
PWers are fighting for something here, and a lot of them are here doing it! Maybe it would be silly for us devs, err mods to ignore that? 
Thank you Poley, recognition of the PW identity means a lot, even when there's still quite a few who deny it's existence .
Fact is, PW is just one big family of people who want to play nicely with each other, and not stab each other in their backs all the time. Closing down PW and forcing us to mingle with the parts of IC that we wish to escape from, will have dramatic results...

I understand both gals are shrinking and the game isn't the same. Imo the game could use some more promotion, maybe even open Virgo back up. Let's get the next generation of players while the old generation is still around. Sure farming and game balance are issues but that's nothing new. I don't see why new players couldn't find this game enjoyable brought to the game in the right circumstances. We all did, in fact thousands did at one time. Have any of you played the popular crap out their from Zynga and Kabaam? It's all shiat. The community here and the forums are great, some of the best people I have ever run across. I think that's the only reason IC has lasted more than a decade. I don't see how merging two galaxies that don't want it is supposed to help.
I played tri, andro, milky way, etc etc and pinwheel has been an altogether different experience. The community built around PW has been pretty tight knit over the years. I among many others don't enjoy MW. The play style isn't as laid back and the player base in MW is much different. I have played enough rounds in MW to make a judgement imo. Frankly I wouldn't play pw was gone. I don't have the time in RL to keep up. I know tons of others that feel the same. Tbh I want to be in PW to the end, where I have loved this game for years.

The substantial differenze between this thread and what Torqez opened for MW is that I've been growing this idea for some months now sinze PW71 and I have it all sorted, just need players signing up

yes Rendy that was very sad when our little newbie friend aka touchpad heroes messaged us with sad faces asking if we will play again. We showed him the art of pop banking and his activity got better daily. you could tell he was enjoying the game
