Hey everybody,

For those who don't know there was a particularly nasty bug recently that was found and abused, which compromised the current round for all galaxies.  This is incredibly unfortunate and we're going to look into what exactly happened so we can implement measures to make sure this doesn't happen again.

We've asked for community feedback regarding what to do about the current rounds, and the majority voted that we wipe the current rounds clean and start over.  This is not an easy decision, and personally I don't agree with it, but we can't please everybody and right now we will respect the consensus amongst players.

We're still working out some details for a short interim round to hold players over while we evaluate a few things, but right now if there is anything left to do in your current families it would be good to do so urgently.  The rankings won't be kept, so I'm not talking about attacks/jumps or anything like that but rather saying any goodbyes/farewells or trading contact info and that kind of thing.  Once the galaxies are closed out you will no longer be able to communicate with your current family members, unless you use the forum pm feature.
