Like alwayz, I will play leader if no1 else is up to it. Otherwise... player
You have to dezide what you want to do now, lead a fam or apply to a leader's list as a player.
The leaders will be set when the gal is reseted so you dont need the votes, aktually, the players in your fam have voted you before by adding their names to your list.

The faster the players sign up the faster we'll get underway, it hasn't even been approved by a Mod yet. But if the people can show they're keen, then anything is possible.
If the players would like to put the effort into it, and are reasonably quick enough to set this up Im sure I can convince the other mods to open gal and place players/leaders.
What I dont understand is players choosing their leaders? So... if say the best 6 all choose one leader, and we have 5 player fams, does the leader then pick his best 5 out of that and the 6th guy gets shafted?
Also with polls, you'd best wanna get your setup sorted. Were talking like a handful of days from now to get this to the point of placing players in fams

I dont want to start a diskussion here Poley but please define "reasonably quik enough".
Did the modteam akted reasonably quik enough with the latest bug? did you blok Kameroons when was proved enuf to have abused a bug? We wouldn't be feeling stupid right now if you were "reasonably quik enuf" and bloked him in time or at least freeze the gals while investigating the bug and its konsekuenzes. I am the 1st to zheer you all when you do it right, bkause I know you're there on your own volunteerin and unpayed, but I'm also the one to blame you when you kommit a serious mistake like this.
I was thinkin to open this thread 2 weeks before PW end date, and the offizial date is

I opened it earlier just bkause of this major bug that affekted the game kore in all the gals, and bkause some people is starting to think PW should be removed or merged or whatever.
Now this will be a lesson for those faithless souls, I will show you how PW is the best gal we have right now just bkause of the tenazious pw kommunity.
The prozess of this reversed drafting gal, fyi and so all the modteam knows is this:
1-List of leaders
2-Pool of players -> we need this to avoid multis/inaktives in the gal, I myself killed 11 people in my fam this round, at least 3 of them proved multis that I had to set rogue.
3-Applikations -> eazh player in the pool applies to 3 leaders, so we start to fill the leader's lists. If we have more leaders than ezpekted, the ones with less aplikations will bekome players in the pool.
4-Elektions -> onze the lists are filled all the leaders meet in irz and set the teams, the order of elektion will be random and round. I will ezplain more about this later.
5-With the teams formed, or right after the players do their applikations, I'll start some polls to dezide the setup of the gal (size, number of systems, initial ress, attaks delay, market delay, allianzes, naps allowed, etz....). I will do this polls with a mod support to be sure the options are doable.
6-Mods kreate the gal and plaze the teams randomly in it.
I dont know ezaktly how long will this prozess take, but mod kolaboration will be very appreziated (using HQ msgs, private msgs or even anounzements forum). We aint gonna wait to ehternity til the lists are filled, or to set a meeting date in irz if some people kannot be there (they'd use a representant). We're gonna try to make it the faster we kan (and I say WE bekause I'm sure the PW kommunity is gonna help me out).

We have it on the HQ page now, I say we give it another 24hrs at least, before we do anything else.
yes I was ezpekting to do the applikations this weekend, saturday and sunday. Then on monday leaders kan meet in irz and set the teams. If people shows interest we kan have it all sorted for tursday or wednesday.

Why don't you allow all players to join?
PW was supposed to be the fully random galaxy. But now you want to make it fully drafted?
And what happens to the Pinwheel randoms taht don't sign up? Where do they go? Will there be no randoming?
My suggestion:
Close Milky Way. Close Pinwheel. Open up a new galaxy with 1-2 drafts, depending on fam size (that way it's a balance between PW and MW, MW used to be close to 50% drafted at some stages and now it's just 1-2 drafts, so its at least better).
Do this Render idea, in a new galaxy, call it, I dunno, Helix/Pegasus/SomethingNew/etc and allow all players who want to lead/play be involved with it

This isn't limited to PW players, V.I.P's are welcome and any MW players too, but if you want to play both then it's the same, V.I.P's are the only one's that are allowed to play both. And yes the question of randoms was on my mind also....

Please Torqez let us do this for PW just this time, like a test if you want, and for these small fams for the pw kommunity, and then later if it works we kan do it on a bigger skale.
I never said this is only for PW players, but I've been kounting the amount of aktive players for the last 4 rounds in pw and it goes from 60 players to 80 in the best kases, so I supose that's the PW kommunity right now.
Of kourse MW players kan apply, and make their team here, we're more than happy to kik their asses, but I'd rather give some priority to those 60-80 that have been playing in this gal for 5 rounds, if that's possible.
About randoms they have still a plaze in this setup, if the player pool is not filled, the remaining spots are for randoms.
We kould also konsider about opening a 6th spot in every fam for randoms, but ... lets define random please, I am doing the pool to avoid multi/inaktives, I would love to add a 6th spot and it be filled with newbies and every family has one to teazh the ropes and progress, but lets get real, this aint wonderland, they will be okkupied by multis and idle players, and maybe 1 out of 15 is a real 'random'.
