Topic: Irc bans

This is kinda annoying. People acting like so retarded on IRC and it dosent effect the game. I understand that privat chats isnt possible to control over IRC. But some channels like #Mods should be pretty easy to control. And someones behaviour there should have repercussions ingame aswell. Im talking about very spesial  circumstances. I will post a log here from mod channel when all the mods where gone/afk. This kind behaviour should not be tolerated.

This kind of behaviour needs to change and it needs to resault in a longtime ban of his IP from IRC and ingame!

some IP's are just not possible to use. specially those ones like mibbet and applet. the only way to stop this behaviour is to not allow anyone to use those kinda programs to connect to IRC. and thats going to affect those that connect from work as alot of companies would not allow the use of chat programs. my company has banned all chats that use java, mibbit and applets due to co workers initally playing more games than working (facebook boom)

also his IP changes. Yesterday I banned his IP and an hour later he was back with a differnt one.

This is because he is using Proxies so yeah pretty much impossible to ban him.

It's Baratheon, and I do agree that the actions in IRC in this instance are severe enough that they should have repercusions in terms of game bans.

If he's using proxies ingame he should be blocked once discovered. But just because he is using them to access IRC doen't necessarily mean he is using them to access IC.

its possible to ban him from the game aswell. Not just irc. That was my point. With special behaviour on public chans in irc should have effect ingame aswell. Clearly this bara situation is a one time thing. he prob decided to stop playing and then have some "fun" in his eyes

Measures are in place to prevent children from acting up like this now. Between +m and Q (thank you Stan) he cannot continue his behavior in #mod and is not happy about it.

As for ingame repercussions, that is a viable punishment. The game, forums, and iRC are all linked. He is facing punishment on his account for his actions on iRC. The rules may not link all 3 facets of the game together, but at Mod descretion, depending on the crime, we find fitting punishment where situations occur that do not fall under 1 specific part of the game.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Because Arby3 abused his mod powers to cheat using one of Bara's family members accounts or something like that.  It's all about arby3 cheating is what he was saying when he first started.
